Who are we?

At Finastra, we’re a global leader in financial services software, dedicated to expanding access to financial services and shaping what’s next for the industry. Our technology powers mission‑critical solutions across Lending, Payments and Universal Banking, supporting over 7,000 customers, including 80% of the world’s top 50 banks, in more than 110 countries.

Job Description:

The Lending Data Management & Analytics Manager will build and mature the Lending Product data, metrics, dashboarding, and insights capability. This role is for a highly self-driven, proactive analytics leader who can turn ambiguous business questions into trusted data products, executive-ready dashboards, and clear narratives that improve prioritization, delivery predictability, product adoption, client outcomes, and commercial performance.

Success in this role requires more than producing reports. The right candidate will help define the metrics, validate the data, automate repeatable reporting, identify risks and opportunities early, and tell a compelling story with data so Product, Technology, Finance, Sales, Operations, and executive stakeholders can make faster, better decisions.

What Success Looks Like:

·       Establishes a trusted, consistent metrics framework across product, delivery, client, commercial, and operational reporting.

·       Builds executive-ready PowerBI dashboards and self-service reporting that reduce manual work and improve decision velocity.

·       Connects data points into a clear business narrative: what changed, why it matters, what action is recommended, and what outcome is expected.

·       Creates reporting automation and repeatable data workflows that improve accuracy, timeliness, governance, and scalability.

·       Operates with ownership and urgency, proactively surfacing insights, risks, trends, and improvement opportunities without waiting to be directed.

Key Responsibilities:

Building the Lending Metrics and Data Foundation

  • Define, document, and operationalize the core KPI framework for Lending products
  • Identify source systems, data owners, definitions, gaps, and quality issues; create a reliable source-of-truth approach for leadership reporting
  • Partner with Product and Operations to align metric definitions, reporting cadence, and governance expectations
  • Create documentation for metrics, data lineage, reporting logic, dashboard ownership, refresh cadence, and data-quality controls

Create Dashboards, Data Products, and Executive Reporting

  • Own the design, build, and continuous improvement of PowerBI dashboards for the Lending portfolio, with a focus on clarity, usability, adoption, and decision support
  • Build dashboards and scorecards from scratch where needed, translating ambiguous leadership needs into structured reporting products and meaningful visualizations
  • Develop executive-ready reporting for QBRs, MBRs, ELT/Board updates, roadmap reviews, governance forums, and strategic planning cycles
  • Create self-service analytics capabilities that enable leaders and teams to answer common questions without one-off manual reporting

Tell the Business Story with Data

  • Analyze trends, patterns, anomalies, and leading indicators, then translate findings into concise narratives, business implications, and recommended actions
  • Move beyond data collection to insight generation: explain what is happening, why it matters, what risks or opportunities exist, and where product managers and leadership should focus
  • Prepare clear presentations, written summaries, and talking points that make complex data understandable for technical and non-technical audiences
  • Use data to influence product prioritization, roadmap tradeoffs, client adoption strategies, delivery improvements, and operational decisions

Automate and Scale Reporting Operations

  • Reduce manual reporting through automation, repeatable workflows, standardized data models, and scalable dashboard refresh processes
  • Evaluate and implement automation opportunities using PowerBI, Excel, Power Automate, SQL/data pipelines, or other applicable tools
  • Improve reporting efficiency, consistency, and auditability by standardizing templates, data validation steps, and control processes
  • Continuously identify opportunities to simplify, digitize, and standardize reporting across product operations and governance processes

Product, Delivery, Client, and Commercial Insights

  • Track roadmap progress, delivery execution, release readiness, product adoption, client implementation/upgrade status, and delivery quality indicators
  • Partner with Product Delivery, Engineering, Operations, and Product leaders to surface early warning indicators, dependency risks, capacity constraints, and improvement opportunities
  • Provide visibility into client version distribution, upgrade readiness, release exposure, adoption trends, and implementation timelines
  • Connect product activity to commercial outcomes by partnering with Finance and Sales operations on bookings, revenue, renewal/adoption signals, value realization, and ROI reporting

Governance, Data Quality, and Stakeholder Partnership

  • Own governance reporting for Product Operations, including transparency, audit readiness, timesheet compliance, capacity utilization, and operational health indicators
  • Establish practical data quality checks and issue-resolution routines to improve trust in dashboards, reports, and leadership metrics
  • Operate as a consultative partner to senior stakeholders, challenging assumptions, asking the right questions, and shaping reporting expectations
  • Coach stakeholders on how to interpret metrics and use dashboards effectively in operating rhythms and decision forums

Required Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, data management, product operations analytics, or a related field; experience in complex enterprise software, financial services, banking, or product organizations preferred
  • Advanced PowerBI expertise, including dashboard design, data modeling, semantic models, DAX and/or Power Query, data visualization, and executive reporting
  • Strong SQL and data preparation skills, with the ability to work across disparate datasets, diagnose data-quality issues, and build repeatable reporting logic
  • Proven ability to build data products, dashboards, scorecards, and KPI frameworks from ambiguous or multiple reporting environments
  • Exceptional ability to translate data into insights, narrative, recommendations, and executive-level communication
  • Demonstrated ownership mindset: self-driven, proactive, organized, and comfortable operating with limited direction in a fast-moving environment
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to partner, influence and communicate effectively across Product, Technology, Finance, Sales, Operations, and executive audiences
  • Strong understanding of product development lifecycle, roadmap management, delivery metrics, release management, adoption/usage metrics, and commercial performance indicators
  • High attention to detail with a strong commitment to data integrity, consistency, documentation, and governance

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with tools such as Aha!, Jira, Kantata, Salesforce, Excel, Power Automate, data warehouses, or similar enterprise reporting and delivery platforms
  • Experience implementing reporting automation, dashboard governance, self-service analytics, or analytics operating models
  • Experience supporting governance, audit, compliance, or enterprise reporting requirements
  • Experience with product adoption, client implementation, renewal, value realization, ROI, or commercial performance analytics
  • Familiarity with Python, data pipelines, data cataloging, or advanced analytics is a plus
