Assist the Vice President of Lending Change Administration with the oversight of Loan Administration’s changes and projects. Assist with the preparation and implementation of changes in policies, guidelines, procedures, and training related to loan products, policies, and systems.
Essential Responsibilities:
- (25%) Schedules and facilitates (agenda creation and moderation of discussion) project meetings which span the project lifecycle stages (Initiation, Planning, Execution, Monitor & Control, and Closing). The project meetings could include all levels of Loan Administration and outside department staff up to and including EVP level in addition to vendors. Detailed notes of key discussion points, action items, and next steps are documented and distributed as needed to project team members.
- (20%) Tracks project status information and prepares status report with minimal supervision to provide to all stakeholders based on a predetermined communication strategy. Tracks and documents the development of new and revised policies and procedures.
- (15%) Acts as a liaison with project team members, external stakeholders, and vendor resources to manage and facilitate resources and project activities. Develops work stream plans for changes and projects. Works with project team members to create work breakdown structures, assign tasks, set timelines, and identify project phases and dependencies, and map out critical paths.
- (15%) Develops and maintains a basic project schedule, ensuring SECU human resources complete tasks on time. Communicates project schedule to project team members and stakeholders. Develops and maintains an organizational change management (OCM) plan utilizing a template. Communicates OCM plan to project team members and stakeholders.
- (15%) Monitors and elevates risks that could impact the project schedule, resource availability, and completion of tasks/milestones reporting any potential issues to the appropriate stakeholders. Maintains and monitors issues log to track and facilitate the resolution of issues. Gathers and archives project documents for input on future projects.
- (10%) Plans and executes Loan Administration projects by supporting teams in defining requirements and the overall scope of approved projects. Works closely with team members to gain an understanding of project goals, deliverables, and expected outcomes. Coordinates efforts across various departments with minimal supervision.
Required Education & Experience (Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities):
- HS Diploma or GED
- Minimum of 2-5 years of lending experience or Project Management experience or equivalent project management certifications.
- Must be proficient with the suite of Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Must be self-motivated and not require daily supervision.
- Must have excellent organizational and communication skills to effectively facilitate and document actions from a meeting.
- Possesses excellent problem-solving skills to ensure progress in achieving project scope and encouraging collaboration of project team members.
Preferred Education & Experience (Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities):
- Bachelor’s degree (Any field of study)
- Experience in Office Timeline, Lucid, Jira, Confluence, MS Project
