What you’ll do
- Produce, format and amend correspondence, legal documents and firm precedents to a high standard.
- Draft and request property searches and Land Registry documents, as well as Land Registry applications.
- Provide proactive diary management, arranging meetings, booking travel and ensuring fee earners are fully prepared with the relevant papers and information.
- Open new client and matter files and maintain accurate records, including preparing engagement documentation, carrying out ID checks and updating internal systems.
- Prepare documents, reports and correspondence using copy and audio typing, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail at all times.
- Coordinate the signing and distribution of documents and assist with document filing, archiving and retrieval.
- Act as a first point of contact for clients and other stakeholders, handling queries professionally and ensuring excellent client service.
- Assist with the preparation of billing, expenses and other financial administration to support the smooth running of matters.
- Organise team meetings, client events and other administrative activities as required.
- Maintain and update matter-related information, trackers and documentation to support the team effectively.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues across the team, providing wider secretarial and administrative support where needed and assisting with ad hoc tasks and projects.

What we’re looking for
- A proven track record of providing high-quality administration/secretarial support within a legal/professional services environment.
- Previous experience within Commercial Property and/or Developer team is highly desirable.
- Strong IT skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office; ability to use legal case management and document management systems.
- Excellent organisational, communication and stakeholder management skills.
- The ability to deal with highly confidential information with tact and sensitivity.
- Superb attention to detail and accuracy (verbal, written, and numerical).
- The desire to work in a fast paced, collaborative, and friendly team.
