Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation, review and revision of corporate documents, contracts and agreements.
- Work cross-functionally to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations, including data privacy regulations and industry-specific regulations.
- Support corporate, contracting, intellectual property, privacy, compliance and other initiatives as needed.
- Develop and manage processes for optimizing the legal team's work, including advising on adopting legal operations best practices.
- Manage the contracts database.
- Assist with entity formation, annual filings and routine maintenance of Vida’s legal entities.
- Provide general legal support to the legal department, including drafting correspondence, preparing legal filings and assisting with other legal projects as needed.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree and/or paralegal certification from an accredited program.
- 4+ years of working as a paralegal at a law firm or in-house.
- Strong understanding of contract law, privacy and compliance principles.
- Experience in a healthcare environment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
