The market data is contributed by over 85 first-party publishers, including some of the world's biggest exchanges and market-making firms. We offer price feeds for several asset classes, including US equities, commodities, and cryptocurrencies. Each price feed publishes a robust aggregate of publisher prices that updates multiple times per second.

Pyth Data Association is hiring a Junior Legal Officer.

The Pyth Data Association is seeking a legal professional. You'll work on compliance and draft essential documents and strategies in this role. You'll be part of a team combining law and innovative technology, ensuring everything aligns with legal standards. You'll work with different teams, improving your career in a field that combines fintech and regulatory frameworks. We seek individuals interested in blockchain with a comprehensive understanding of Swiss law.

 Required Skills and Experience

• Assist in legal research and analyze regulatory requirements to ensure compliance and inform business practices.
• Draft and review a variety of legal documents and agreements.
• Collaborate effectively with external legal counsel and internal contributors to coordinate legal operations.
• Stay updated on legal developments related to blockchain and cryptocurrency to support proactive legal strategies.
• Provide legal guidance to internal stakeholders, enhancing understanding and compliance across the organization.
• Work with cross-functional teams to ensure regulatory compliance is integrated into product development and business operations.
• Engage in research on various novel legal and regulatory issues, offering legal analysis and recommendations that drive informed business decisions.
• Draft and structure internal policies to align with organizational goals and regulatory standards.
• Help build and maintain our contracts database.

 Preferred Qualities

• A Law degree from an accredited institution.
• For Junior Legal Officers: 1-4 years of post-qualification legal experience.
• The minimum experience for Paralegals is 4-7 years, preferably in financial services, fintech, technology, or related fields.
• Experience with Swiss Law and exposure to Swiss Vereins (Associations) is mandatory.
• Would be great if you could work with our team in our Porto office some days a week - not mandatory.
• Strong legal research and document drafting skills.
• Demonstrated interest or expertise in blockchain technology and the cryptocurrency industry.
• Exceptional analytical and communication skills, with proficiency in English.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
