The Senior Legal Counsel, Southeast Asia & India is a key legal resource supporting on legal matters across commercial and operational activities, with the primary focus on Southeast Asia, and in India.
The role reports directly to the General Counsel, APAC, and operates in close day-to-day alignment with relevant commercial and operational teams across the sub-region.
The role acts as a trusted business partner to the Southeast Asia and India commercial and operational teams, providing pragmatic, commercially sound legal support while safeguarding Electrolux’s legal and compliance position.
What you’ll do:
Strategic Legal Partner to Southeast Asia & India
· Act as a trusted legal advisor to the commercial and operational teams.
· Support sub-regional strategy from a legal and compliance perspective, in alignment with the APAC General Counsel.
Legal Support – Southeast Asia & India Commercial (Sales & Commercial Activities)
· Responsibility for all assigned legal matters relating to commercial activities.
· Structure and deliver commercially pragmatic, legally sound support across assigned commercial activities in the sub-region, in line with APAC regional priorities and under the oversight of the General Counsel, APAC.
Legal Support – Southeast Asia & India Operations (Manufacturing & Supply Chain)
· Responsibility for all assigned legal matters relating to operational activities in Southeast Asia and India, including manufacturing, industrial footprint, sourcing, logistics, and supply-chain related matters.
· Support operational teams in managing legal risk while enabling efficient and compliant operations across the sub-region.
Legal Compliance
· Responsibility for all assigned legal compliance matters in Southeast Asia and India, including implementation of Group and APAC compliance frameworks in the sub-region.
· Supporting on creation and implementation of data privacy policies and frameworks for the region.
· Work in close coordination with the General Counsel, APAC and the BA EA Compliance Director on compliance matters affecting the sub-region.
Legal Governance & Escalation
· Ensure all assigned Southeast Asia and India legal matters are handled in line with Group Legal governance, policies and guidelines.
· Support on occasional group or APAC-wide projects and initiatives.
· Escalate material legal risks and sensitive matters to the General Counsel, APAC as appropriate.
Who you are:
Bachelor’s degree in law and master’s degree is a big plus.
At least 7 years of experience in legal compliances, governance and acting as business partner with both legal firms and multi-national corporates.
Regional working scope with both commercial and manufacturing side are ideal preference.
Strong English communication ability (both written and spoken).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate with stakeholders across functions.

Where you'll be:
