We are looking for a driven Summer Legal Intern with a basic understanding of legal principles and terms who is ready for an immersive, real-world experience. Under the supervision of our legal team, the Summer Legal Intern can expect to conduct legal research, draft documents, assist with contract review, and support the legal team with other legal activities. If you are a motivated team player who can maintain efficiency and accuracy when multitasking, we encourage you to apply! This internship is full-time for summer 2026, running from May to August 2026 in Lehi, Utah available to 1L students only.

What does a typical day look like for a legal intern?
-Shadowing members of the Legal department as they perform their duties
-Assisting with legal research, data entry, and maintaining accurate and complete legal records
-Drafting legal documents, such as contracts, agreements, and memos

-Taking on additional tasks or projects to learn more about legal and office operations
What will I need to thrive in this role?
-Currently pursuing a juris doctor degree at a top tier law school, 1L students only
-Possess an understanding of legal principles and a positive attitude
-Demonstrate collaboration, trustworthiness, receptiveness to feedback, and eagerness to learn
-Handle sensitive or confidential information with honesty and integrity
-Learn to work as part of the Legal team to compile and analyze data, track information, and support the company or clients

What is the team like?
You will collaborate closely with full-time Legal team members and receive supervision from the General Counsel and other Pattern attorneys. The General Counsel and other Pattern attorneys will serve as your mentors, meeting with you regularly to discuss your performance and provide guidance. This data-driven and results-oriented team values collaboration, encouraging all members to contribute ideas and insights to implement actionable solutions effectively.
