ABOUT US:
We are looking for a Legal Intern who is eager to gain hands-on experience in corporate and commercial legal work. This role involves supporting the legal team in reviewing documents, conducting research, and ensuring compliance, while developing practical skills in a fast-paced business environment.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Assist in drafting and reviewing legal documents, agreements, and contracts.
- Support the review and updating of internal policies and procedures to ensure compliance.
- Conduct legal research on regulatory, compliance, and business-related matters.
- Help organise, update, and maintain the company’s legal documents and contract database.
- Collaborate with the legal team and other departments to support ongoing projects.
- Stay informed about legal and regulatory developments that may impact the business.
Requirements
WHAT WE EXPECT OF YOU
- Final-year law student or recent graduate with a Degree in Law (LLB or equivalent).
- Strong command of written English and solid legal research skills.
- Attention to detail with strong organisational abilities.
- Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced, regulated industry with a keen interest in insurance and data protection law.
- Able to commit to a full-time internship for 3 months.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
- Previous internship experience or exposure to legal administrative or research work is an added bonus.
