We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Legal Lead to oversee all legal matters, including contract management, compliance, intellectual property, and risk management. This role will focus on ensuring legal security and integrity while supporting business operations and growth initiatives. The ideal candidate will provide legal advice across multiple departments, support mergers and acquisitions, manage legal risk, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements such as GDPR and CCPA.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contract Drafting & Review: Draft, review, and negotiate contracts to protect company interests.
  • Legal Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate legal risks across all business functions.
  • Intellectual Property: Manage trademarks, patents, copyrights, licensing, and protect intellectual property.
  • Dispute Resolution: Resolve legal disputes and manage litigation, ensuring favorable outcomes.
  • Compliance & Governance: Ensure corporate governance standards and compliance with all relevant regulations.
  • Negotiations: Lead and manage legal negotiations and settlements.
  • Policy Development: Create and implement internal legal policies.
  • Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) Support: Oversee legal due diligence for mergers and acquisitions.
  • Patent Filings: Handle the filing and management of patents, ensuring the protection of innovations.
  • Legal Research: Stay updated on regulatory changes affecting business operations.
  • Training & Development: Train staff on legal processes and compliance.
  • External Counsel: Manage and coordinate external legal counsel for specialized matters.
  • Data Protection: Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations.
  • Document & Process Management: Oversee legal documentation, filing, and process innovation.
  • Client Communication: Serve as the legal point of contact for key stakeholders.
Requirements
  • 4+ years of experience in legal roles, focusing on corporate, intellectual property, compliance, or contract law.
  • Strong understanding of GDPR, CCPA, and other regulatory frameworks.
  • Proven experience in drafting and negotiating contracts and managing external legal counsel.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
