General Description:
The Legal Department Administrative Operations (LDAO) Analyst will support the Legal Department Administrative Operations Manager and other members of the Legal Department as assigned. This role functions as a generalist, supporting the administration of a variety of Legal Department policies, programs, and processes. The LDAO Analyst will exercise independent judgment, demonstrate initiative, and work as part of a collaborative team on both departmental and firmwide Legal Department-related projects geared toward strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities and Essential Job Functions:
- Review, analyze, and monitor various ongoing LDAO programs and processes, including but not limited to, the firm’s Transition Partner-Departing Attorney (Offboarding) program, Audit Response Letters process, and administration of the firm’s policies on Board Service and service in Elected and Appointed Public Office.
- Analyze and report on data and metrics to identify issues, trends, or exceptions to improve processes and find solutions.
- Conduct and coordinate research to support LDAO department planning and objectives.
- Support the LDAO team in planning, coordination, and execution of administrative projects and initiatives, including thoughtfully suggesting ideas for processes or workflow improvements as recognized in the course of daily work.
- Ensure timely completion of project milestones, status reports, and deliverables by actively collaborating with team members to track progress.
- Ensure project documents are current and stored in designated locations.
- Special projects and duties as assigned.

- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with excellent attention to detail.
- Comfort with systems ownership and platform management; ability to own and manage numerous projects at once, including engaging cross-functional stakeholders.
- Ability to interact effectively with personnel at all levels with a high degree of professionalism.
- Ability to work independently and effectively, under pressure, with minimal direct supervision.
- Ability to exercise the appropriate amount of discretion in escalating and communicating issues.
- Ability to manage multiple projects with competing deadlines and priorities.
- Ability to write clearly and concisely.
- Strong computer proficiency, particularly in Microsoft Office Suite and a document management system, such as iManage.
- Willingness and ability to learn and expand skills.
- Adapt to competing demands and new responsibilities.
Required Qualifications & Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree.
- 3+ years of professional experience.
Preferred Qualifications & Education:
- Experience with digital workflow platform, ServiceNow, a plus.
- Law firm experience preferred.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time.
- Moderate or advanced keyboard usage.
