About the role.
The Legal Counsel is a broad, hands-on role within the European Legal Team, supporting the business across a variety of commercial, corporate, and procurement matters. This position offers significant exposure to diverse legal work, close mentorship from senior legal leaders, and the opportunity to grow in scope and responsibility over time.
What you'll be doing.
- Provide day-to-day legal support across commercial, corporate, and procurement matters for the GBI & EMENA business.
- Draft, review, and negotiate procurement, supply, and commercial agreements while helping stakeholders achieve objectives and mitigate risk.
- Support the wider European Legal Team on ad hoc legal matters and projects.
- Build trusted relationships with procurement and commercial stakeholders across the business.
- Utilize legal technology tools to manage workflow, track matters, and improve efficiency.
- Identify legal and commercial risks and escalate matters appropriately when senior legal input is required.
- Collaborate with legal colleagues across other regions.
What you'll need to be successful.
- Qualified lawyer (or equivalent) with up to 5 years' post-qualification experience.
- Fluent business English, both written and spoken.
- Interest in legal technology and willingness to learn and adopt new tools.
- Exposure to commercial or procurement contracts is beneficial but not essential.
- Solutions-focused mindset with a proactive, hands-on approach.
- Commercially minded and pragmatic in balancing legal requirements with business needs.
- Strong relationship-building and collaboration skills.
- Ambitious, curious, and eager to grow professionally.

The role sits within the European Legal Team and supports the GBI & EMENA business. The position works closely with procurement and commercial stakeholders, collaborates with legal colleagues across regions, and receives mentorship from senior legal leaders. The role has no direct reports.
