Job Description:
Key Responsibilities
- Providing day-to-day legal support to the business on a broad range of corporate and commercial matters.
- Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a wide variety of commercial agreements, including but not limited to supply agreements, service agreements, distribution agreements, non-disclosure agreements, and licensing arrangements.
- Advising internal stakeholders on corporate governance requirements, regulatory compliance obligations, and general commercial law matters.
- Supporting the management of corporate housekeeping for the Turkish entity, including board resolutions, shareholder resolutions, and filings with the relevant trade registries.
- Monitoring developments in relevant legislation and regulation that may affect the business and communicating updates and practical implications to the wider legal team and business units in a timely manner.
- Assisting with the management of any disputes or litigation matters in Turkey, liaising with external counsel where necessary and ensuring that the company's interests are effectively represented.
- Contributing to cross-border projects and transactions as required, collaborating with colleagues across different jurisdictions.
Qualifications and Experience
Candidates must hold a law degree from a reputable university with a minimum of four to five years of post-qualification experience, ideally combining law firm and in-house work in corporate law, commercial contracts, and general litigation. Fluency in both Turkish and English is essential.
