Purpose of Role
As part of the Commercial Finance organization, the Senior BFC Partner works collaboratively with colleagues and stakeholders to ensure Business Finance deliverables required by Local and Regional Finance teams are produced on time and to the required quality and level of detail, by executing defined BFC processes.
The role will also drive AI adoption and process optimization, including improving business finance processes and interactions, and ensuring they are executed as designed. The Senior BFC Partner brings Business Finance expertise to a delivery-focused partnership with Commercial Finance, driving business performance and key metrics through BFC principles.
Through prior experience across Finance, the Senior BFC Partner provides support and guidance to Junior BFC Partners in their day-to-day work. The scope of activities and countries assigned typically involves greater complexity and requires autonomy, sound judgment, and the ability to manage ad-hoc requests with potential material impact for the markets supported.
With strong knowledge and experience, the Senior BFC Partner plays a key role in demand management to support the success and sustainability of the finance transformation.
Key Tasks & Responsibilities
• Lead the planning, preparation, and completion of all defined BFC deliverables for assigned markets/BUs, with a focus on Operating Plan and forecast baseline projections; enable timely submissions in Mosaic; and support standard financial slide preparation and offline template consolidation.
• Provide information, metrics, and insights to Local, Cluster, and Regional Finance colleagues to support decision-making and performance management.
• Analyze financial and operational data to identify, quantify, and prioritize opportunities to enhance efficiency and improve performance, leveraging AI-enabled ways of working.
• Partner with BFC, Local/Cluster, and Regional Finance colleagues to ensure deliverables are produced and completed in line with defined BFC processes, timelines, and quality standards.
• Lead the adoption and implementation of AI-driven tools to enhance reporting, analytics, and insight generation.
• Act as a point of contact and escalation for Finance stakeholders; respond to requests and provide guidance, data, and clarification as needed.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders to understand their challenges, needs, and business context, and reflect these in BFC support and deliverables.
• Manage urgent and exception requests within established timelines; proactively monitor, prioritize, and eliminate backlogs.
• Contribute to the BFC community of practice within key specializations, driving optimization and continuous improvement of processes, deliverables, interactions, skills, and tools.
Key Competencies & Experience
• Degree-educated (or equivalent) in Finance/Accounting, Data Science. Professional accreditation and/or an MBA/Master's in Finance or Accounting would be advantageous.
• Business finance experience in a local market or regional environment, including reporting, analysis, planning, budgeting, forecasting, commentary, and modelling.
• Ability to independently generate analytical insights and communicate them effectively, using financial tools (e.g., Global and Local LightHouse), modelling, and standard MS Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
• Strong work ethic and ability to multitask, with strong problem-solving, project planning and delivery, attention to detail, time management, and critical thinking skills. Experience in a matrix environment is an advantage.
• Proficiency in Russian is required
• Proven ability to build strong relationships in a virtual environment.
• Familiarity with AI, analytics, automation, and/or data visualization tools like Power BI strongly preferred. Co-pilot experience beneficial

• Proactive, adaptable, and comfortable working with new technologies.
• Fluent in English and comfortable working in a culturally diverse organisation.
