We are looking for a Legal Counsel to join our EMEA Legal Department and provide legal support across commercial operations, with a particular focus on contract management, compliance, and risk mitigation. Working closely with senior legal counsel and cross-functional stakeholders, you will support the business by drafting and negotiating commercial agreements, ensuring compliance with applicable legislation, and providing practical legal advice to internal teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Draft, review, negotiate, and interpret a wide range of commercial agreements, including sales, services, software licensing, and other customer contracts. 
  • Provide day-to-day legal advice to business stakeholders on commercial, corporate, compliance, and regulatory matters. 
  • Support the business in identifying, assessing, and mitigating legal and commercial risks. 
  • Ensure company practices comply with applicable local and international laws, regulations, and internal policies. 
  • Monitor legislative and regulatory developments and advise the business on their potential impact.  
  • Assist with contract management throughout the full contract lifecycle. 
  • Support compliance initiatives, including GDPR and data privacy matters, as well as ethics and trade compliance programs. 
  • Conduct legal research and prepare legal analyses on a variety of commercial and regulatory topics. 
  • Collaborate with internal departments, external counsel, and customers on legal matters and contract negotiations. 
  • Support governance, compliance, and other legal projects across the EMEA region. 

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Law. 
  • 3–5 years of experience as an in-house Legal Counsel or in a multinational environment. 
  • Strong expertise in commercial and contract law; knowledge of employment law is considered an advantage. 
  • Proven experience drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial contracts. 
  • Experience advising internal stakeholders on legal, compliance, and risk management matters. 
  • Familiarity with GDPR, data privacy regulations, and corporate compliance frameworks is preferred. 
  • Excellent written and spoken English. 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office. 
  • Strong analytical, negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills. 
  • High ethical standards, integrity, and attention to detail. 
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, international environment. 
  • Willingness to travel occasionally within the EMEA region when required.
