We are looking for a driven and detail-oriented Legal Associate with strong exposure to White Collar Crime and Dispute Resolution to support complex legal matters, investigations, litigation, and advisory assignments.

The ideal candidate will have strong legal research and drafting skills, sound analytical ability, and a genuine interest in handling sophisticated disputes and regulatory matters. You will work closely with senior legal professionals on matters involving corporate misconduct, fraud, financial irregularities, regulatory investigations, commercial disputes, and related legal proceedings.


RequirementsKEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Assist in handling white collar crime, corporate fraud, financial misconduct, and economic offence matters.
  • Conduct detailed legal research on applicable statutes, regulations, case laws, and judicial precedents.
  • Support senior lawyers in developing strategies for litigation, investigations, and dispute resolution matters.
  • Draft and review legal notices, pleadings, petitions, applications, replies, affidavits, written submissions, opinions, and other legal documents.
  • Assist in preparing documentation and submissions for courts, tribunals, regulatory authorities, and investigative agencies.
  • Analyse factual records, contracts, financial documents, correspondence, and other evidence relevant to disputes and investigations.
  • Assist with internal and external investigations involving allegations of fraud, misconduct, corruption, financial irregularities, and regulatory violations.
  • Support dispute resolution and litigation matters from pre-litigation assessment through hearings and final resolution.
  • Assist in matters involving commercial disputes, shareholder disputes, contractual claims, regulatory proceedings, and related corporate litigation.
  • Support arbitration and other alternative dispute resolution proceedings, including research, drafting, documentation, and hearing preparation.
  • Prepare case chronologies, issue lists, legal research notes, evidence summaries, and hearing briefs.
  • Monitor case developments, procedural requirements, filing deadlines, and important regulatory or judicial updates.
  • Attend court hearings, meetings, conferences, and proceedings as required.
  • Coordinate with clients, advocates, investigators, consultants, and other external stakeholders.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential records of legal matters, evidence, correspondence, and case documentation.
  • Assist in preparing client updates, legal opinions, and strategic recommendations.
  • Track developments in white collar crime, corporate investigations, economic offences, dispute resolution, and regulatory law.
  • Contribute to knowledge management, precedent research, and development of internal legal resources.
WHAT MAKES YOU A GREAT FIT
  • 1+ years of relevant legal experience, preferably in white collar crime, dispute resolution, litigation, investigations, or corporate law.
  • Strong interest and practical exposure to White Collar Crime and Dispute Resolution.
  • Good understanding of corporate fraud, financial misconduct, economic offences, regulatory investigations, and related legal frameworks.
  • Strong legal research skills with the ability to analyse statutes, regulations, case law, and judicial precedents.
  • Excellent drafting skills with experience preparing legal pleadings, notices, applications, submissions, opinions, and related documents.
  • Exposure to litigation, arbitration, commercial disputes, or regulatory proceedings is highly desirable.
  • Strong ability to analyse large volumes of documents, evidence, financial records, and complex factual information.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify inconsistencies, risks, and legally significant facts.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with sound legal reasoning.
  • Ability to work effectively under tight deadlines and manage multiple legal matters simultaneously.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality when handling sensitive investigations and client information.
  • Comfortable working collaboratively with senior lawyers, clients, investigators, and external counsel.
  • Proactive, intellectually curious, and willing to take ownership of assigned matters.
  • Strong professional ethics, integrity, discretion, and attention to legal and procedural requirements.
  • LL.B./LL.M. or equivalent recognised law degree is required; relevant professional qualifications and litigation experience will be an advantage.
