Key Responsibilities:
- Support attorneys with business litigation matters, including full lifecycle case support
- Handle federal and state court filings, including e-filing
- Maintain precise calendaring and deadline management
- Draft, proofread, edit, and format legal documents
- Perform redlining, Word formatting, and document revisions
- Assist with overflow administrative tasks and special projects
- Coordinate workflows and maintain effective office procedures
- Collaborate across teams while maintaining professionalism with clients, vendors, and staff
Requirements:
- 5+ years of legal assistant experience, preferably in business litigation
- Strong knowledge of federal and state court filing rules and procedures
- Excellent proofreading, writing, and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and manage a high-volume workload
- Advanced proficiency in: Microsoft Word (2010 or higher), Outlook, and iManage or similar document management systems
