We are seeking a competent, detail-oriented, and proactive Legal Assistant Officer to support legal operations within the organization. The ideal candidate will assist with legal documentation, compliance matters, stakeholder engagement, litigation tracking, and provide legal support to ensure adherence to applicable laws and regulations.
Legal Drafting & Documentation
- Draft, review, and manage agreements, contracts, and official correspondence across the company and its business units.
- Ensure legal documents are accurate, well-documented, and compliant with relevant laws and regulations.
Stakeholder Liaison & Coordination
- Engage and coordinate with landlords, government agencies, regulatory bodies, and other external stakeholders on legal matters, including assignments outside Lagos.
- Represent the organization in external legal engagements where necessary.
Litigation & Insurance Management
- Monitor ongoing litigation involving the company, track case progress, and maintain proper records.
- Manage insurance-related documentation and follow up on claims and related processes.
Legal Advisory & Compliance Support
- Provide legal support to management to promote compliance with applicable laws and regulatory requirements.
- Assist in reviewing company policies, procedures, and operations to ensure legal compliance.

Skills Required
- Bachelor's Degree in Law (LL.B)
- Nigerian Law School Certificate (B.L.)
- 1-3 years of relevant legal experience
- Strong legal drafting, research, and communication skills
- High level of professionalism with ability to handle confidential information
