How you will make an impact:
As the Leave of Absence Specialist, you will oversee and administer leave requests and accommodations requiring specialized attention, particularly those arising under the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA), the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), state and local leave laws, and Short-Term/Long-Term Disability plans. This includes processing timely notifications and communications with client employees and supervisors regarding leaves and absences.
What You'll Bring:
- High school diploma.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience administering leave of absence/FMLA in a multi-state organization with working knowledge of Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA), the Americans with Disabilities act (ADA), Workers’ Compensation, Short Term Disability, Long Term Disability, and other paid leave programs.
- General OSHA regulation and benefit plan knowledge, preferred.
- PEO or HR Shared Services experience highly desirable.
