Job Description

As our Learning & Talent Specialist you will design and deliver the learning and talent solutions that help NEXTDC’s people keep pace with one of Australia’s fastest growing technology companies. Reporting to the Head of Organisational Development and Learning, you will turn business priorities into practical, high-impact development experiences that build capability where it matters most. 

You will be responsible for: 

  • Designing, developing and facilitating high-impact learning solutions across leadership, professional and technical capability areas, translating complex concepts into practical tools, frameworks and learning assets that drive adoption 

  • Incorporating AI-enabled approaches into learning solutions to improve engagement, scalability and practical application 

  • Supporting the design and implementation of talent initiatives aligned to business priorities, including contributing to the rollout and embedment of the SCALE Leadership Capability Framework 

  • Supporting core talent processes including talent reviews, performance cycles and development planning, ensuring quality and consistency across the business 

  • Partnering with P&C Business Partners and leaders to identify capability gaps and recommend targeted solutions and influence adoption of frameworks, tools and learning initiatives 

  • Managing end-to-end delivery of learning and talent initiatives, from scoping through to evaluation and continuous improvement 

 

Qualifications

Your proven experience in Learning & Development and Talent will see you bringing: 

  • Experience in Learning & Development, Organisational Development or a similar role, with a track record of designing and delivering programs and initiatives that drive real business outcomes 

  • Experience supporting talent processes such as talent reviews, performance or development planning  

  • Confidence using AI-enabled tools to support learning design, content creation and productivity  

  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, with the ability to translate business needs into practical, outcome-focused solutions 

  • Experience in a high-growth, ASX-listed, or complex multi-geography organisation (desirable) 

  • Ability to build AI fluency in others through practical, applied learning experiences (desirable) 

  • Experience with Workday Learning or similar learning management platforms
