What We'll Bring:

We are seeking a dynamic L&D professional to drive organizational growth through high-impact learning experiences for the TransUnion Sontiq Data Breach department.
This role is responsible for the full instructional lifecycle: from identifying performance gaps and designing training content to facilitating engaging sessions and maintaining our central knowledge repository.

What You'll Bring:

Key Responsibilities

1. Instructional Design & Content Development

  • Design and curate high-impact, visually engaging training materials and digital assessments rooted in Adult Learning Principles, optimized for virtual consumption.
  • Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to translate complex technical information into digestible, learner-centric content.
  • Apply adult learning theories (e.g., ADDIE, SAM) to ensure all training programs are effective, scalable, and measurable. 

2. Virtual Facilitation & Remote Performance Coaching

  • VILT Excellence: Lead end-to-end virtual new hire onboarding, refresher training and/or product release and initiatives, utilizing advanced facilitation techniques to maintain high engagement in a remote setting.
  • Global Agility: Adjust working hours as required to accommodate and facilitate training for global remote teams across various time zones.
  • Digital Engagement: Expertly manage virtual classroom tools (breakout rooms, whiteboards, polls, and chat) to facilitate interactive sessions for groups of 15–25.
  • Remote Nesting & Sustainment: Oversee the "virtual nesting" phase, providing real-time remote coaching and accountability via screen-sharing and digital feedback loops.
  • Virtual Performance Analytics: Partner with leadership to provide data-driven reports on trainee progress and identify performance gaps.

3.  Stakeholder Collaboration & KMS Governance

  • Consultative Alignment: Proactively collaborate with stakeholders to identify knowledge gaps and align training/KMS initiatives with current business "pain points."
  • KMS Stewardship: Serve as an administrator for the online Knowledge Management System, ensuring all SOPs and resources are accurate, searchable, and standardized.
  • Technical Writing: Translate complex operational workflows into clear, professional digital documentation.

Impact You'll Make:

Qualifications

  • Experience: 3+ years of Learning & Development and/or virtual training experience (Call Center environment preferred).
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Global Flexibility: Ability to maintain a flexible schedule to support a global operations environment.
  • Microsoft Office Mastery: Advanced proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite, with a heavy emphasis on:
    • PowerPoint: Ability to design visually engaging, professional slide decks that follow brand standards and incorporate multimedia.
    • Word: Expert-level document formatting for the creation of clear, structured Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Participant Guides.
    • Excel: Competency in using data functions to track trainee progress, analyze assessment scores, and report on training metrics.
  • Virtual Facilitation Background: Demonstrated experience training in a virtual environment; must be comfortable troubleshooting basic technical concepts while maintaining session flow.
  • Communication Excellence: Superior verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present to and influence diverse groups.
  • Operational Agility:
    • Ability to maintain focus, flexibility, and organization in a fast-paced environment.
    • Strong collaboration skills and the ability to build consensus on training needs and objectives.
    • Committed to instructional excellence and detail-oriented content design to ensure a high degree of learner readiness and successful post-training integration.

For positions based in South Africa, preference will be given to suitably qualified candidates from designated groups in line with the company's Employment Equity plan and targets.

A Minimum of a 100/100 Meg Fibre line is required, should you be successful, you will need to upgrade your line or install fibre for day one.
