This is a hands-on, people-focused role that will play an important part in ensuring our teams receive consistent, practical, and engaging training that supports both day-to-day operations and long-term development.
Working closely with Subject Matter Expert Managers and operational leaders, you’ll support the rollout and coordination of training across multiple departments, helping bring together existing resources into one clear and consistent approach to learning. You’ll ensure training is operationally fit for purpose, accurately tracked through the LMS, and aligned to the needs of our teams and guests.
This role is about more than administration and coordination, we’re looking for someone who enjoys being visible in operations, building strong relationships with teams, and understanding how learning can improve performance on the ground. You’ll spend a significant amount of time out on resort, working alongside leaders and departments to support onboarding, identify development opportunities, and help embed learning into everyday practice.
Alongside supporting new team members joining Butlin’s, you’ll also contribute to ongoing learning pathways that help our people continue to grow and develop throughout their journey with us. There may also be opportunities to support the facilitation of leadership and operational training sessions, as well as assisting with the creation and continuous improvement of learning materials and resources.
This is a varied and rewarding role for someone who enjoys working across multiple teams, thrives in operational environments, and is passionate about helping people succeed through great learning experiences. Travel between resorts will form a significant part of the role.
About You
You’ll be someone who is passionate about learning and development and understands the impact great training can have on both people and operational performance. You’ll enjoy building relationships with teams across different departments and feel comfortable working in fast-paced operational environments where no two days are the same.
You may already have experience supporting training, onboarding, coaching, or operational development within hospitality, leisure, retail, or a similar people-focused environment. You’ll be organised, proactive, and confident coordinating multiple priorities, while also being approachable and collaborative in the way you work with others.
We’re looking for someone who can balance attention to detail with a practical, operational mindset — someone who can take existing information and help turn it into engaging, consistent learning experiences for teams across the business. Experience working with LMS and supporting training compliance would be beneficial, alongside confidence using digital learning tools and systems.

You’ll be comfortable facilitating or supporting group training sessions when required and happy spending time out on resort supporting leaders and team members directly. Most importantly, you’ll be passionate about creating positive learning experiences, supporting team development, and helping build a culture where learning is part of everyday life.
Due to the nature of the role, flexibility and willingness to travel regularly between resorts is essential.
