Hi, we’re TechnologyAdvice.
At TechnologyAdvice, we pride ourselves on helping B2B tech buyers manage the complexity and risk of the buying process. We are a trusted source of information for tech buyers, delivering advice and facilitating connections between our buyers and the world’s leading sellers of business technology.
Headquartered in Nashville, Tennessee, we are a remote-first company with more than 20 digital publications and over 500 global team members in the US, UK, Singapore, Australia, and the Philippines. We’re proud to have been repeatedly recognized as one of America’s fastest growing private companies by Inc., as well as a Tennessee top workplace. We work hard each day and have fun, too, with monthly virtual events, recreational slack channels, and the occasional costumed dance from our CEO.
All positions are open to remote work unless otherwise specified in the requirements below.
Our Learning & Development (L&D) team helps employees across the company grow their skills, contribute meaningfully, and stay engaged through learning experiences that evolve with the business.
As a Learning & Development Specialist, you’ll play a key role in designing, delivering, and measuring the impact of our learning programs. You’ll combine instructional design expertise with data-driven analysis to ensure every initiative aligns with business goals and demonstrates clear ROI. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building programs from the ground up, facilitating interactive sessions, and continuously improving learning experiences.
Employment Level : Mid Level II
Employment Type: Full Time
Location: Philippines
Working Hours: 9:00 pm to 6:00 am PHT
What you'll do
- Design and develop training programs across key skill areas (leadership, communication, onboarding, and soft skills), building materials from scratch using instructional design best practices.
- Create engaging content in a variety of formats — written materials, videos, e-learning modules, interactive exercises, and live facilitation guides.
- Facilitate and coordinate live and virtual training sessions, managing scheduling, communications, and learner engagement.
- Administer and optimize our Learning Management System (LMS), maintaining user records, course materials, and reporting dashboards.
- Analyze participation, completion, and performance metrics to evaluate ROI and program effectiveness.
- Partner with stakeholders to identify learning needs, design scalable solutions, and align training strategy with business objectives.
- Support key L&D initiatives, including mentorship programs, DiSC training, and onboarding.
- Research new learning tools and trends to continuously improve training experiences and delivery methods.
- 3–6 years of experience developing and delivering corporate training content.
- Proven experience with instructional design, including creating new programs and materials from scratch — not just delivering pre-built or vendor-produced content.
- Skilled in developing content across multiple formats (written, video, e-learning, facilitator-led).
- Experienced in LMS administration (e.g., WorkRamp, Lessonly, Docebo, or similar).
- Data-driven mindset with the ability to measure program effectiveness and communicate ROI.
- Comfortable facilitating live, virtual training sessions with distributed teams.
- Strong communication, organization, and presentation skills.
- Proficient in Excel or Google Sheets; capable of analyzing data and identifying patterns.
- Able to adapt quickly to changing business needs and priorities.
- Coachable, collaborative, and eager to grow.
- Preferred experience supporting mentorship programs, leadership development, or behavioral assessments (DiSC).
- Must have a working laptop/pc and internet and back-up connection
