Role Overview
As a Splunk Customer Success Executive (CSE) Manager, you will lead a team of high-performing Customer Success Executives tasked with empowering our customers to achieve their goals with Splunk. You will be responsible for defining and executing technical adoption strategies, managing complex enterprise-level customer journeys, and encouraging an AI-first, activated culture. You will act as a key leader within the Asia region, ensuring our teams deliver seamless value, drive renewals, and expand our footprint through meaningful customer success outcomes.
Your Impact
- Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute multi-year regional adoption strategies aligned with Cisco and Splunk’s vision. Integrate AI-driven predictive analytics to optimize prioritization and accelerate customer value realization.
- Customer Delivery & Experience: Serve as a trusted advisor to senior executives in the Asia region. Build strong interlocks with Product Specialists, Sales, and Renewal Specialists to provide industry-leading technical adoption.
- Operational Excellence: Lead regional business strategies that balance competing priorities. Champion the integration of AI methodologies for scalable adoption across complex, multi-product, and multi-technology deployments.
- People Leadership & Culture: Lead as a role model by living Cisco’s Guiding Principles. Mentor and coach your team to foster innovation, inclusivity, and high performance. Cultivate an AI-first mindset, modernizing workflows and clarifying ownership.
- Regional Stewardship: Oversee the CSE function across ASEAN, Korea, Greater China, and India. Navigate diverse regional business environments to drive a unified "One Cisco" engagement approach.
Minimum Qualifications
- Experience: Bachelor’s degree + 12 years of related experience (or equivalent Masters/PhD).
- Leadership: Minimum of 2+ years of formal supervisory experience managing teams.
- Domain Expertise: 7+ years of practical experience in the technical domain (Cybersecurity, IT Operations, or Observability). Must be able to relate to and guide the team on the technical aspects of the Splunk portfolio.
- Regional Track Record: Demonstrated experience working in the Asia region within a multinational software/SaaS organization.
- Executive Presence: Proven track record of working at an Executive (C-Suite) level, advocating for and securing engagement on both the Customer and Vendor side.
- Communication: Ability to communicate clearly in English with customers and senior stakeholders, articulate Cisco’s value proposition, and speak on behalf of Cisco at regional industry events.
- Collaboration: Strong ability to manage cross-functional stakeholders (Sales, Engineering, Partners) to drive coordinated efforts.
Preferred Qualifications
Hands-on experience using Splunk or adjacent technologies in large enterprise environments.
Experience in managing teams with both direct and indirect reporting lines.
Proven success in navigating the unique regulatory and business landscapes of the Asia region.
