Join Cisco's Global CCG Shared Services (GCSS) team, a Center of Excellence driving global Record-to-Report (R2R) processes and finance transformation. This team partners with Finance, IT, Transformation, and Business leaders to deliver accurate financial reporting, strengthen governance, and enable scalable, technology-driven finance operations.

As part of the Controllership organization, you'll lead complex accounting operations across multiple legal entities while championing automation and continuous process improvement through AI, RPA, and digital transformation initiatives.

Your Impact

As a Finance Manager – Controllership & R2R Transformation, you will provide techno-functional leadership while overseeing end-to-end financial close activities, ensuring compliance, and driving operational excellence across global finance processes.

You will:

  • Lead and optimize month-end and quarter-end close processes across multiple legal entities, ensuring timely, accurate, and complete financial reporting.
  • Drive compliance with US GAAP, SOX, and internal accounting policies while maintaining strong financial controls and audit readiness.
  • Demonstrate expertise in ASC 606 Revenue Recognition, ensuring accurate and compliant revenue accounting and reporting.
  • Manage and mentor a high-performing finance team by establishing clear KPIs, fostering accountability, and supporting career development.
  • Partner with Finance, IT, Transformation, and Business stakeholders to deliver strategic finance initiatives and influence cross-functional project outcomes.
  • Identify reconciliation gaps, investigate variances, and implement sustainable corrective actions to strengthen financial controls.
  • Champion finance transformation by leveraging AI, Machine Learning (ML), Robotic Process Automation (RPA), and digital technologies to automate manual processes and improve operational efficiency.
  • Measure and communicate automation benefits, including productivity gains, process improvements, and return on investment (ROI).
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives by simplifying finance processes and enhancing reporting capabilities.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or related field
  • CA, CPA, CWA, or CGMA qualification preferred.
  • 12+ years of progressive experience in Finance, Accounting, or Controllership.
  • 3+ years of people leadership or finance management experience.
  • Strong expertise in:
    • Record-to-Report (R2R)
    • Month-end and quarter-end close processes
    • Financial reconciliation and reporting
    • US GAAP and SOX compliance
    • Internal controls and audit requirements
  • Proven experience managing finance operations across multiple legal entities.
  • Strong communication, stakeholder management, and executive presentation skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to independently lead complex, cross-functional finance initiatives.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Hands-on experience with ASC 606 Revenue Recognition and its practical application.
  • Strong knowledge of ERP platforms such as Oracle, SAP, or equivalent.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including financial modeling and data analysis.
  • Experience with financial reporting and consolidation tools.
  • Hands-on experience implementing AI, Machine Learning (ML), Robotic Process Automation (RPA), or other automation technologies within finance functions.
  • Demonstrated success leading finance transformation and process automation initiatives.
  • Experience working within large multinational organizations or Global Capability Centers (GCCs).
  • Continuous improvement mindset with a passion for innovation, digital transformation, and operational excellence.
  • Strong AI profiency and Skills
  • Ability to drive large transfomation initiatives
