About the Role
As a Lead Wireless Hardware Engineer, you will be part of the Wireless Hardware team based in Philippines, working in a global project environment to deliver RF and antenna solutions for next-generation connected consumer products.
This role requires a highly motivated and creative engineer who combines deep technical expertise with a pragmatic approach to problem-solving, capable of leading complex RF development from concept through mass production.
Key Responsibilities
- Technical Leadership Lead RF design, RF EMC, and wireless integration activities across product categories.
- Drive resolution of complex RF issues and ensure high-quality, robust hardware delivery.
- Serve as the subject matter expert in RF design, antenna development, RF EMC, and wireless system integration.
- RF Design & Development Design and optimize integrated antenna and RF hardware for constrained product environments.
- Perform EM simulation (e.g., ANSYS HFSS or equivalent) to develop optimal antenna solutions.
- Conduct RF system, circuit, and antenna-level testing and validation.
- Technology & Innovation Drive adoption of new technologies, components, and suppliers.
- Lead RF development strategies aligned with product roadmaps.
- Engineering Process & Risk Management Define requirements, conduct design reviews, and perform technical risk analysis.
- Proactively identify and resolve design issues across the development lifecycle.
- Collaboration & External Partnerships Work with ODM/JDM partners to deliver RF hardware solutions.
- Contribute to sourcing decisions and review partner performance and deliverables.
- Verification & Compliance Validate designs through comprehensive RF testing and ensure robustness.
- Ensure compliance with global regulatory standards (US, EU, China, Japan, etc.).
- Support regulatory testing and mitigation strategies.
- Manufacturing & Production Support Define RF test requirements for manufacturing.
- Support factory teams on yield issues and test-related challenges.
- Documentation & Engineering Excellence Produce high-quality engineering documentation including schematics, PCB layouts, design notes, tolerance analysis, and failure reports.
- Ensure designs meet performance, reliability, cost, manufacturability (DFM), and compliance requirements.
About You
You are an experienced RF engineer with a strong track record of delivering wireless-enabled consumer products at scale. You bring both deep technical expertise and leadership capability, and thrive in a fast-paced, innovation-driven environment.
Qualifications & Experience
- Degree or Master’s in Electronics, Communications, RF/Microwave Engineering, or related field.
- 8+ years of experience in RF system design, with proven delivery of connected products.
Technical Expertise
- Strong experience with wireless technologies such as Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, NFC, RFID or similar and emerging protocols such as Matter, along with embedded antenna systems.
- Expertise in miniaturized antenna design, tuning, and integration in complex product environments.
- Proficient in RF simulation tools (e.g., ANSYS HFSS or similar).
- Experience in RF circuit design, system-level validation, and lab characterization.
- Working knowledge of schematic capture and PCB layout tools (Mentor Graphics, Altium, or similar).
- Solid understanding of EMC design principles.
Regulatory & Compliance
- Strong working knowledge of global radio regulatory standards, including FCC (US), CE (Europe), SRRC (China), and MIC (Japan).
- Hands-on experience in RF regulatory testing, certification processes and compliance mitigation strategies.

- Proven ability to lead and influence engineering teams and stakeholders.
