Job Description

Job Title: Lead Technology Application Specialist (TAS) 

Exp - 15 to 25 Years

Location: Hyderabad, Lloyds Technology Centre 

UK Department: GCOO – Group Process Office 

Though this role description is drafted as if it is part of the GCOO COO Group Process Office, it is for a Lloyds Technology Centre role which will support the Group Process Office team from India, and their line management will remain in Lloyds Technology Centre. 

Summary 

We’re introducing a local team in LTC who will provide services to the Groups UK based RFB (Group Process Office). This office plays a central role in enabling consistent, governed, and data-driven process management across the organisation. 

This role will be responsible for providing technical leadership across Business Process Intelligence (BPI) capability, including BPMN modelling standards, process mining, task mining and supporting SaaS tooling platforms. 

Working under the direction of the UK team, the role will support the enablement and governance of process build and process intelligence capability. The role will ensure tooling, standards and guardrails are consistently applied across the Group and partner with Business Units to improve process quality, insight and decision-making. 

The LTC colleague(s) will deliver services to support high-quality, standardised process modelling practices and actionable process insight, enabling better operational performance and control across the Group. 

Job Description 

Working under the direction of the RFB UK Operation, this role involves leading the LTC delivery capability supporting Business Process Intelligence tooling, standards and services across the Group. 

The role acts as the technical authority and control owner for BPI tooling and SaaS platforms, ensuring users across the organisation are equipped to model processes correctly and aligned to defined standards and guardrails. 

The role works closely with UK partners to identify capability gaps and improvement opportunities, translating these into actionable delivery priorities. 

The role provides technical leadership and direction to the LTC team delivering platform configuration, support and enhancements and will be accountable for the team’s performance. The role partners with Business Units, Platforms, Technology and Control functions to drive consistent adoption of process intelligence capability. 

The role supports the development and maturity of process modelling standards and governance approaches and ensures tooling and processes operate in line with risk, control and regulatory expectations. The role maintains alignment between process modelling standards, tooling configuration and business outcomes. 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Own and prioritise the technical backlog for BPI capability, aligning delivery to business value and risk 

  • Act as the technical authority for BPMN modelling standards, process mining and task mining capability 

  • Ensure consistent application of modelling standards and guardrails across the Group 

  • Provide oversight and assurance of SaaS platform configuration, access and governance 

  • Act as a control owner, ensuring controls, documentation and audit evidence are maintained 

  • Identify, assess and manage risks associated with process tooling and modelling practices 

  • Lead engagement with LTC delivery teams, ensuring quality, alignment and effective execution 

  • Build strong relationships across our business partners to support adoption and continuous improvement 

  • Drive improvements in process quality, reuse, insight and automation opportunities 

Essential Skills & Experience 

  • Solid experience in Business Process Intelligence tooling, including: 

  • BPMN modelling standards and application 

  • Process mining and task mining concepts and tooling 

  • Proven experience in SaaS platform administration, including: 

  • Configuration 

  • Access management 

  • Governance and controls 

  • Demonstrable ability to act as a technical authority, providing mentorship, assurance and decision support 

  • Experience owning and managing technical backlogs and delivery priorities 

  • Good understanding of risk management, controls and governance frameworks 

  • Experience acting as a technical or control owner in a regulated environment 

  • Strong partner management skills, with the ability to influence across organisational boundaries 

  • Experience leading or directing offshore / distributed delivery teams, including LTC models
