Are you interested in building capabilities that enable the organization with innovation, speed, agility, scalability and efficiency? The Global Technology team takes great pride in our culture where digital transformation is built into our DNA! When you join our organization at Prudential, you’ll unlock an exciting and impactful career – all while growing your skills and advancing your profession at one of the world’s leading financial services institutions.

Your Team

As a Lead, Technical Program Management in the Information Security Office, you will drive delivery for a set of priority Information Security initiatives across multiple teams. Reporting to the Vice President, Technical Program Management, you will lead day-to-day execution for assigned programs and workstreams—managing scope, schedule, risks, dependencies, and outcomes from planning through stabilization. You will remove delivery blockers, drive cross-team coordination, and provide clear, timely visibility through practical metrics and crisp reporting. You will partner with Technology and Information Security leaders to ensure solutions align to security requirements/controls and are operationally ready for adoption.

Here is What You Can Expect on a Typical Day

  • Drive the integrated delivery plan for assigned Information Security initiatives across workstreams and delivery teams; establish and maintain delivery cadence (planning, checkpoints, stakeholder updates) and track milestones and delivery commitments.
  • Maintain RAID (risks, assumptions, issues, decisions) for assigned programs, actively manage escalations, and drive resolution of blockers and cross-team dependencies; ensure clear ownership, follow-through, and documented decisions.
  • Provide clear, concise status reporting for stakeholders using outcome-oriented metrics (delivery health, adoption, control readiness, risk posture); identify trends, highlight tradeoffs, and drive follow-ups based on execution learnings.
  • Partner with program and delivery teams to translate priorities into executable plans for your assigned area, with clear sequencing and measurable outcomes across scope, timing, and resource needs.
  • Partner with Information Security and Technology leaders to surface constraints early (scope, capacity, sequencing), develop options, and drive timely decisions for your assigned programs.
  • Build strong partnerships with Business Partners, Control Partners, Technology teams, and 3rd-party vendors to keep delivery aligned to agreed priorities and produce usable outcomes; identify opportunities to reduce duplication and increase reuse/standardization within your scope.
  • Facilitate program governance forums for your initiatives to coordinate delivery across teams, resolve interlocks, and ensure readiness for releases and operational adoption.
  • Drive disciplined execution across the full lifecycle (intake, planning, delivery, launch, stabilization) for assigned programs, ensuring work products meet Information Security requirements (controls, documentation, approvals) and include clear operational handoffs so delivered capabilities are supportable and auditable.
  • Support delivery teams and partners with execution discipline (planning hygiene, dependency follow-up, stakeholder updates) and contribute to a culture of accountability and transparency through strong follow-through.
  • Identify and implement improvements to program management processes and tooling (planning, reporting, dependency tracking) within your scope to strengthen execution discipline, transparency, and delivery predictability.
The Skills & Expertise You Bring
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Assurance, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or Information Systems, and/or experience in related fields
  • Proven experience in program/project management, including agile delivery methodologies and working effectively in hybrid (agile/waterfall) environments as needed
  • Strong program delivery experience in an Information Security and/or technology environment, including integrated planning, dependency management, stakeholder reporting, and governance (cadence, RAID, escalations)
  • Ability to engage credibly on core cybersecurity concepts (controls, risk, identity, vulnerability management, incident response) and translate them into clear delivery requirements, governance checkpoints, and measurable outcomes for assigned initiatives
  • Outcome-oriented delivery in regulated environments: define and track metrics (delivery health, adoption, control readiness) and help ensure controls, documentation, approvals, and operational handoffs support auditability and intended risk outcomes
  • Strong business acumen and sound judgment; ability to frame tradeoffs and recommendations in the context of priorities; continuous learning mindset
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills
  • Effectively leverage diverse ideas, experiences, and perspectives to benefit the organization

Core competencies:

  • Problem Solving – deep knowledge of approaches, tools, techniques for recognizing, anticipating, and resolving interpersonal, operational or process problems; ability to apply knowledge of problem solving appropriately to diverse situations.
  • Effective Communications - Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors.
  • Decision Making and Critical Thinking - Knowledge of the decision-making process and associated tools and techniques; ability to accurately analyze situations and reach productive decisions based on informed judgment.
  • Accuracy and Attention to Detail - Understanding the necessity and value of accuracy; ability to complete tasks with high levels of precision.
  • Producing Results - Understanding of the criticality of getting things done in spite of current circumstances and the ability to apply assigned resources and leverage back-channel resources (individuals or teams) to achieve or exceed planned outcomes.
  • Preferred qualifications:
    • Experience supporting or managing programs with diverse stakeholders across regions and time zones
    • Prior hands-on cybersecurity experience (e.g., security engineering, operations, incident response, vulnerability management, IAM), with demonstrated ability to apply security practices within a regulated environment
