The Role: Technical Program Manager
As a Technical Program Manager (TPM) you will coordinate global activities for projects in our Materials Solutions (MS) division. You will ensure goals of customer satisfaction, quality, and scale in achievement of the company’s strategic objectives. You will partner with R&D teams, the global business team, customer-facing teams, and other business support functions to usher New Product Introductions (NPIs) smoothly through the development and commercialization process.
In this role you will:
Manage a subset of NPI products, including prioritizing the most business-critical projects, coordinating with cross-functional teams, developing methods to track and report KPIs, and risk identification/mitigation, to increase success and ensure agile execution of business growth objectives throughout the commercialization process
Ensure Product Development/NPI process efficiency, including streamlining business processes and anticipating/removing obstacles, to support demanding customer timelines and effective use of limited resources
Train and reinforce best practices for project management and standardized processes, ensuring consistent quality and transparency to enable project knowledge proliferation and retention
Aid in crafting customer communications to balance customer requirements, effective marketing of product, and strategic protection of information to maintain competitive advantage
Manage complex, high-impact projects that are critical to the business or customer
Traits we believe make a strong candidate:
A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or related degree/discipline is required; advanced degree preferred
Project Management experience handling multiple projects with a strong understanding of project management principles and software tools; PMP certification is preferred
A minimum of 7 years of experience in formulation or managing new product development programs for semiconductor fabrication consumables is required
Knowledge of semiconductor fabrication processes related to chemical mechanical planarization and technical fluency in CMP related chemistry, engineering & manufacturing is required; a minimum 3 years in a CMP related role is highly preferred
Demonstrated track record of successful execution of multiple, complex, business critical projects and consistent on-time product launches that meet business growth objectives
Strong project management skills, including but not limited to, risk assessment and mitigation, conflict management, meeting management, task management, stakeholder management & project closure
Expert knowledge of stage gate NPI processes and the ability to conduct cross functional gate reviews
Highly motivated with ability to build and maintain productive relationships cross-functionally and the demonstrated ability to influence up, down, and across the organization
Strong written & verbal communication skills and ability to present to all levels within the organization

Successful management of a portfolio of NPIs that meet quality, customer, and business objectives
Effective cross‑functional coordination and influence, resulting in strong alignment, even in the absence of direct authority
Proactive identification, mitigation, and escalation of program risks, including clear communication of risks, dependencies, and tradeoffs
Improved efficiency and transparency in NPI related processes through clear KPIs, tools, and reporting
Consistency and rigor in project management practices, including well‑run meetings, clear documentation, disciplined action tracking, and serving as a NPI project management SME
High‑quality internal and external communication, ensuring stakeholders have the right level of information at the right time to support decision‑making, trust, and strategic alignment
Skills Required
