Job Duties and Responsibilities
EchoStar is seeking an innovative and technically skilled Lead of Technical Innovation - Staff Product Manager to lead the execution of transformative initiatives within our Department of Innovation (DOI) division. This high-impact role will oversee the technical integration of cutting-edge projects, including but not limited to Web3 and blockchain-based solutions and Artificial Intelligence enabled solutions from proof-of-concept (POC) to production environments. The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in technical execution, production deployments, and emerging technologies to drive EchoStar's innovation strategy.
Key Responsibilities:

• Technical Execution:
• Lead the technical implementation of DOI initiatives from inception to production across EchoStar environments
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of technical solutions into production ecosystems
• Define and manage technical roadmaps, timelines, and deliverables for all DOI projects

• Integration Management:
• Oversee the transition of projects from proof-of-concept (POC) to production (PROD), ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance
• Develop and implement integration strategies to align with EchoStar's infrastructure and operational goals

• Artificial Intelligence Experience:
  • Experience with AI frameworks, candidates should stay on top of emerging AI initiatives and understand how to effectively incorporate them into a corporate environment.
  • Proficient in machine learning, data analysis, and model development.
• Web3 and Blockchain Expertise:
• Leverage expertise in Web3, blockchain, and decentralized technologies to identify opportunities and implement innovative solutions
• Stay ahead of emerging trends in blockchain technology and assess their potential for DISH's innovation initiatives

• Leadership and Collaboration:
  • Build and lead a high-performing technical team to support the successful execution of innovation projects
  • Act as a technical liaison between DOI, EchoStar, and external stakeholders to ensure alignment and collaboration

Skills, Experience and Requirements
Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field Master's degree preferred
• 10+ years of experience in technical execution and production deployments, preferably within innovative and fast-paced environments
• Demonstrated experience managing projects from proof-of-concept to production, including integrations with large-scale systems
• Strong knowledge of Web3 technologies, blockchain protocols, and decentralized ecosystems as well as AI

Skills and Competencies:

• In-depth understanding of system integration, cloud environments, and production-ready deployment pipelines
• Hands-on experience with blockchain frameworks, smart contracts, and decentralized applications (dApps)
• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to drive innovation through a combination of technical expertise and strategic thinking
• Experience with AI frameworks, candidates should stay on top of emerging AI initiatives and understand how to effectively incorporate them into a corporate environment.
• Proficient in machine learning, data analysis, and model development.

Salary Ranges
Compensation: $110,100.00/Year - $157,300.00/Year
