The Role

What will you do
- Handle end-to-end compliance for SEZ/STPI units, including documentation, filings, and approvals from regulatory authorities. Coordinate with Development Commissioners, STPI authorities, and other government bodies for permissions, renewals, and clarifications wherever required. Maintain and update SEZ and STPI records, including monthly SOFTEX filings and SEZ annual performance reports. Monitor and ensure compliance with SEZ/STPI operational guidelines, including adherence to benefits and obligations.
- Reviewing import/export documentation, including Bill of Entry, Shipping Bills, and Duty Drawbacks. Liaise with customs authorities for clearances, queries, and compliance requirements. Work closely with freight forwarders and customs brokers to ensure smooth logistics and compliance. Handle bonded warehouse operations, including record maintenance, reconciliation, and ensuring compliance with customs regulations.
- Act as a single point of contact for SEZ/STPI and customs-related queries for internal stakeholders. Provide training and guidance to team members on SEZ, STPI, and customs processes and compliance.
What you need
- A professional qualification (CA/ Lawyer) is preferred. 3-5 years of experience in SEZ, STPI, and customs compliance, preferably in a corporate environment. In-depth knowledge of SEZ/STPI regulations, customs processes, and Foreign Trade Policy. Hands-on experience with ERP systems and proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Familiarity with audit processes and responding to regulatory queries. Team player with the ability to work collaboratively across functions.
