CLA is growing and seeking to hire an experienced Lead Solutions Architect to join our talented Information Technology team. The position offers growth, flexibility and a collaborative work environment.

In this position you should have the following; excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate at all levels. Strong problem solving and creative skills and the ability to exercise sound judgment. Most important, demonstrate a high level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.

This role works closely with IT and business leadership to set tactical and direction for IT efforts. The focus of the position is to align multi-year IT road maps with Firm priorities. Once the direction is set, this role prioritizes and leads those efforts. They also create architecture drawings, providing level 4 support, and managing Technical Projects that span across all IT Teams.

How you’ll create opportunities in this Lead Solutions Architect role:

• Architecture Lead: Leads strategic and tactical delivery meetings with cross functional delivery teams. Work directly with the business and technical teams to design technical solutions for a business problem and assist the Project Manager to create a scope of work.

• Architecture Guide: Work with technical teams to forecast, road map, train, and implement enterprise technologies. Develops strategic plans from which standards can be established and

enforced. Assesses requirements and translates them into system guidelines, detailed technical requirements, and successful system implementations.

• Technical Team Initiatives: Create documentation around architectural initiatives as required - prepares all design artifacts from high to low level, including attending code reviews. Provides peer reviews of technology initiatives. Guides and counsel's technical teams performing implementation activities, and reviews implementation outcomes to ensure design compliance.

What you will need:

• Nine years of experience required; five of which needs to be in IT Solutions Architecture.
• 3 years experience with Azure Cloud
• 3 years with Python Development
• 3 years with React NodeJS
• Bachelor's degree or a combination of relevant experience and training may be considered in lieu of a degree.

Technical Competencies:

This position works within the OSI model and should be conversant across the model, and competent in the session, transport, presentation and application layers. This position also leads high level and detailed designs that follows the C4 model that breaks down the architecture into 4 levels - context, container, component and code - to lead us through design at all levels.
