The Job
As Own continues to scale into the next phase of growth, we are looking for an experienced Lead Solution Engineer.
As product experts and outstanding communicators, our Solution Engineers partner with Sales to help our customers and prospects make informed decisions about how to protect their valuable SaaS data. We approach each engagement with empathy, creativity and a genuine desire to help our customers and prospects succeed.
As a Lead Solution Engineer, you will align and support our International Sales team by owning technical discussions, product demonstrations, Proof Of Concepts and proving business value to influence closed deals.
This is a demanding pre-sales role which requires drive, empathy and interpersonal skills.
Your Day-to-Day Role
- Deliver compelling product demonstrations to set Own apart from other solutions
- Lead complex Proof of Concepts from start to finish, to prove the value of the Own Platform
- Respond to functional and technical elements of RFIs/RFPs
- Convey customer requirements to Product Management teams and help validate functionality
- Maintain a regular Customer feedback channel and provide inputs for product development
- Develop and deliver innovative custom solutions, including solution concepts to key decision makers to address their business issues and needs showing business value
- Display initiative, self motivation and deliver high quality results along with meeting all expectations for both internal and external customers.
- Handle complex and high level escalated inquiries from customers
Your Work Experience
- 8+ year(s) experience in a Solution Engineering (Pre-Sales) role
- 2+ year(s) experience working In-depth knowledge of salesforce.com platform
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills
- Business level French language skills
- Excellent English written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to analyze and solve problems, perform complex tasks and prioritize multiple projects
- Ability to work as part of a team to solve technical problems in varied political environments
- Ability to build rapport quickly with customers and third parties
- Good planning and organizational skills with a demonstrated ability to work calmly under pressure
Important Details
This is a full-time position. The ideal candidate will work out of our Paris office a minimum of 3 days per week to maximise collaboration and interaction with the business. Travel may be required.
