Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and proactive QA Lead with 8+ years of experience in quality assurance and test automation. You will lead a team of QA engineers in a cross-functional environment, driving quality strategy, automation initiatives, and continuous improvement across multiple applications.

What You Will Get To Do:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of QA engineers, providing technical guidance, mentorship, and performance feedback.

  • Define and implement QA strategy, test plans, and automation frameworks aligned with product and business goals.

  • Oversee test automation efforts using tools such as Playwright, Selenium, UFT, and API testing frameworks (Postman, RESTful APIs, SOAP UI).

  • Collaborate with Product Owners, Developers, and DevOps to ensure quality is embedded throughout SDLC.

  • Drive test coverage, efficiency, and scalability through robust automation and CI/CD integration.

  • Manage test environments, data setup, and release readiness across multiple projects.

  • Analyze and report on quality metrics, defect trends, and ROI to inform decision-making and process improvements.

  • Conduct risk assessments, root cause analysis, and implement preventive measures.

  • Champion best practices in testing, coding standards, and agile methodologies.

  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, and retrospectives with a focus on quality outcomes.

What You Will Bring:

Education and qualification:

  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology or computer science (mandatory)

  • ISTQB or any other certification

Technical Knowledge & Skills:

Required

  • Proven experience in leading QA teams and managing test automation projects.

  • Strong hands-on experience with Playwright, Selenium, UFT, and scripting languages (TypeScript, Java, C#, VBScript).

  • Expertise in automation framework design, maintenance, and enhancement.

  • Solid understanding of microservices architecture, API testing, and CI/CD pipelines.

  • Proficiency in SQL for data validation, migration testing, and automation support.

  • Experience with JIRA, HP ALM, and test management tools.
