Summary:

Software System Integration and Verification (SSIV) lead system-level integration, verification, and validation activities for customer programs. This role ensures on-time, on-quality delivery while driving defect containment, automation, AI-enabled execution, and continuous improvement. The position serves as a technical focal enabling scalable IVV practices, improving efficiency, and ensuring successful customer releases.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead end-to-end SSIV execution for customer programs, ensuring delivery on scope, schedule, budget, and quality targets.

  • Define and govern software branch strategy, configuration management, and software part number control for generic and customer-specific releases.

  • Integrate generic and customer-specific software, including bug fixes, approved scope changes, and configuration updates.

  • Drive system integration, performing hands-on troubleshooting, log analysis, and root cause investigation across HW/SW systems.

  • Lead defect triage and critical issue resolution in collaboration with development teams; ensure proper classification (SW/HW/config/tooling).

Required Skills:

  • 8–12+ years of experience

  • Experience in C++/Java Programming

  • Experience in Python or Selenium

  • Experience in automation testing (functional & non-functional) and test frameworks, Regression Testing, Requirement traceability matrix.

  • Experience in system integration, performing hands-on troubleshooting, log analysis, and root cause investigation across HW/SW systems (Software deployment on hardware)

  • Experience with software development and system software integration, system-level debugging & troubleshooting.

  • Deep knowledge of Linux/Unix/Android systems Strong knowledge of networking (TCP/IP, VLAN, Ethernet) and databases (e.g., MySQL)

  • Experience with configuration management, software branching strategies, and release management Expertise in defect management tools (JIRA, ClearQuest) and Agile methodologies

  • Ability to analyze logs, troubleshoot HW/SW issues, and identify system-level defects.

Skills Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field with 8+ years' experience, or Master's degree with 8 to 12 years of experience
  • 8+ years of knowledge/experience in Linux, Networking, and Scripting
  • 8+ years of Java or C++ expertise
  • Familiar with test principles, including functional testing, performance testing, etc.
  • Skilled in troubleshooting software and hardware issues
  • Knowledgeable in networking, TCP/IP, VLAN
  • Ability to make decisions, solve complex problems, and work independently
