Job Description
Role/Project Description Title: Software Engineer IV (Lead Java Engineer) - Java Microservice
Summary: Lead Developers should be responsible for high performance, fine grained micro service and backed component development. He/she should be helping/mentoring senior/junior developers wherever applicable. He/she should be working very closely with product owners to streamline the requirements and should be owning end to end delivery.
Qualifications: BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject.
Responsibilities: Developers would be contributing to all phases of the development lifecycle including writing well designed, testable, efficient code. Must be capable of working independently and collaboratively. Developer responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

10+ years of experience on Java EE related technologies.

Good hands on knowledge on Java 8+

Good understanding of Java based Microservices framework, Spring framework, Hibernate framework, SQL etc.

Working knowledge of Spring.

Hands on working knowledge of Spring boot.

Working knowledge on unit test cases. Candidates should be comfortable with data mocking to handle various test cases.

Good understanding of Micro services based applications.

Working experience (4+ year) on RESTful services development.

Working knowledge of the build and deployment process. Candidates should be able to define the best practices for application build and deployment of the same in multiple runtime environments.

Object Oriented analysis and design using common design patterns.

Good hands on knowledge of Relational Databases, SQL and ORM technologies.

Working experience (2+ year) on cloud services.

Working experience (3+ year) of distributed messaging technologies like Kafka or so on.

Working experience (3+ year) of docker and container orchestration.

Good understanding of logging and application monitoring.

Good in debugging and troubleshooting.

Good understanding of scheduling frameworks like airflow.

Basic understanding of JavaScript and UI frameworks.
