Sr QA Engineer (Robot, Rest assured, API testing)

• We are seeking a passionate and experienced Senior QA Engineer to join our dynamic product development team. This role requires a strong technical foundation and the ability to work hands-on with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products.

Scope:

• As a Senior QA Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of our TMS products by designing, developing, and executing rigorous testing strategies. You will collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality products on time and within budget.

Our Current Technical Environment:

• Software: Python, Java, JavaScript, SQL, REST Assured, Robot Framework
• Tools and Methodologies: Agile, Exploratory Testing, API Testing, Test Automation
• Cloud Platforms: Azure (preferred)
• Domain Knowledge: Supply Chain Management (preferred)

What You’ll Do:

• Develop and implement comprehensive QA strategies throughout the TMS product development lifecycle.
• Design, develop, and execute test plans, test cases, and other test artifacts to ensure thorough and effective testing of our products.
• Collaborate with developers and vendors to identify and resolve defects throughout the development process.
• Advocate for best practices in testing methodologies, tools, and automation frameworks.
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts to enhance test coverage and efficiency.
• Analyse test results, identify the root causes of defects, and track bug resolution to ensure product quality.
• Work closely with product managers and development teams to define acceptance criteria and support successful product launches.
• Provide constructive feedback to improve code quality and overall product performance.
• Stay current with the latest trends and technologies in software testing to ensure the team's methods and tools are up to date.
• Mentor and guide junior QA team members, fostering a culture of collaboration, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement.

What e Are Looking For:

• 5 to 7.6 yrs of QA experience in IT
• Strong understanding of QA principles and best practices.
• Experience in designing and developing test automation frameworks (Robot Framework, REST Assured).
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Java, or JavaScript.
• Experience with API testing tools and methodologies, with a strong focus on REST APIs.
• Knowledge of SQL databases is an advantage.
• Familiarity with major cloud platforms, with Azure being a plus.
