In this role, you will:
- Lead complex technology initiatives including those that are companywide with broad impact
- Act as a key participant in developing standards and companywide best practices for engineering complex and large scale technology solutions for technology engineering disciplines
- Design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs
- Review and analyze complex, large-scale technology solutions for tactical and strategic business objectives, enterprise technological environment, and technical challenges that require in-depth evaluation of multiple factors, including intangibles or unprecedented technical factors
- Make decisions in developing standard and companywide best practices for engineering and technology solutions requiring understanding of industry best practices and new technologies, influencing and leading technology team to meet deliverables and drive new initiatives
- Collaborate and consult with key technical experts, senior technology team, and external industry groups to resolve complex technical issues and achieve goals
- Lead projects, teams, or serve as a peer mentor
5+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
- We are seeking a highly skilled Lead API Developer to design, develop, test, and deploy enterprise-grade APIs supporting Master Data Management (MDM), cloud integration, and digital transformation initiatives. The candidate will work closely with MDM, Integration, Security, and Apigee platform teams to build secure, scalable, and high-performing APIs across internal and external environments.
- Required Experience
- 8+ years of software development experience with at least 5+ years focused on API design and development.
- Strong experience developing RESTful APIs and microservices.
- Hands-on experience with Informatica Intelligent Data Management Cloud (IDMC), including Cloud Application Integration (CAI).
- Experience working with API Gateway platforms such as Apigee.
- Experience supporting enterprise integration and MDM initiatives.

- Understanding of data integration patterns, transformation, and orchestration.
- Apigee Platform
- Experience developing, deploying, and supporting Apigee proxies.
- Experience working with both Internal and External (PAA) API proxies.
- Knowledge of proxy policies, security policies, traffic management, analytics, and deployment processes.
- Experience with EPLX deployment processes and release management.
- Performance & Testing
- Strong experience with API performance testing and benchmarking.
- Hands-on experience using Apache JMeter.
- Ability to analyze performance bottlenecks and optimize API throughput and response times.
- Experience with load, stress, and endurance testing.
- DevOps & CI/CD
- Experience with Git, Bitbucket, GitHub, Azure DevOps, or similar repositories.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated deployments.
- Familiarity with containerized environments and cloud-native development is a plus.
- Design and develop enterprise APIs for MDM and downstream applications.
- Create API specifications and technical solution designs.
- Collaborate with MDM, Security, Architecture, and Apigee platform teams.
- Develop and deploy internal and external API proxies.
- Implement API authentication and authorization controls.
- Conduct API performance, load, and stress testing.
- Troubleshoot production issues and provide operational support.
- Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to development standards.
- Support API governance, documentation, and release processes.
- Work closely with business and technical stakeholders to deliver integration solutions.
- Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Informatica MDM platforms.
- Experience supporting Contact/Customer Master or Reference Data initiatives.
- Financial services or large enterprise experience preferred.
- Knowledge of cloud integration architectures and event-driven designs.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
