Lead Software Engineer, Electronic Trading Technology, Execution Platform Core Integration

As a Lead Software Engineer at JPMorgan Chase within the Execution Platform Technology Team, you are an integral part of an agile team that works to enhance, build, and deliver trusted market-leading technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable way. As a core technical contributor, you are responsible for conducting critical technology solutions across multiple technical areas within various business functions in support of the firm's business objectives.
Job responsibilities
• Coordinates technology developments with regards to trade processing• Possess ability to provide L3 support on the execution platform and front office monitoring GUI• Strengthen relationships with our market data vendor• Handle project management for strategic business initiatives including exchange / regulatory mandates. • Possess ability to work closely with FO traders, FO application team and infrastructure partners to improve or implement new process flow in the execution platform.• Lead the upgrade, maintenance and architecture design of the execution platform including: server provisioning, configuration management, High Availability and Disaster Recovery• Possess experience in establishing infrastructure and have industry-specific knowledge related to exchange colocation setup
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
• BS/BA degree or equivalent experience• Solid knowledge and understanding of equities trading, post trade services and SDLC processes• Adequate knowledge of Linux/Unix Operating systems, underlying storage systems and network tuning. • Proven experienced in understand Market Data feeds in Asia markets• Strong knowledge and experience in FIX, Analytics and OMS. Knowledge in equities trading in Asian markets specific. • Proficient in core Java development, Python, shell scripts in Linux/Unix environment. • Self-motivated, multi-tasking, with string analytical and problem solving skills, solution oriented with proven results and to support BaU activity while independently driving projects.• Clear and confident communication skills - both verbal and written in English. • Good team player and ability to work independently with minimal guidance.
