Job Purpose and Overview
You can become part of the team behind Agile Poker for Jira & Planning Poker - apps that make estimation a team play: choose estimation technique of your preference, invite colleagues, estimate and discuss, - everything inside Jira with teams all over the world. Our apps are used by thousands of users from various industries.
Our products are growing quickly as we are adding new features, improving users' experience, and improving core technology. Apart from estimation tools like Pokers, the team owns various apps and solutions in the Agile category - Agile Retrospectives, Toggl Integration for Jira, Issue Events: Google Calendar integration for Jira that we keep improving from a technical & product point of view. We’re looking for new colleagues who will help us with that mission.
What You Will Do
- Join a self-organizing, cross-functional and cooperate closely with other Software Engineers, Product Managers, Team Leaders, and with other specialists like Product marketers or Support Engineers.
- Design, build, and maintain efficient and scalable and applications.
- Follow and establish the best : automated testing, code review, pair programming, and YBIYRI (you built it you run it).
- Share your thoughts and on what would be the best for the customers and the business: you will be part of discussions about the future of our products and Appfire.
- Decide and assignments - we do not micromanage people and we do care about work & life balance.
- - if you see that something can be improved, suggest how and make it happen (alone or by engaging your colleagues).
- Benefit from the sameless access to the Support Team, quick feedback, and direct communication with our customers.
What We Would Like to See
- Hands-on experiencewith front-end (primary) and back-end web technologies, - consider any of: . Whereas we appreciate some breadth, we value the depth even more!
- Willingness to learn and use multiple technologies.
- Truly to solving problems. Good theoretical foundations of computer science (e.g. algorithms and computational complexity, OOP) are super practical in the ever-changing landscape of technologies.
- It will be nice to have an understanding of modern , and practical experience implementing them in either , , or .
- Deep architectural understanding of , including , and aspects.
- Desire and ability to mentor other team members.
- Command of English at level B2 or higher.
- DB's knowledge, and familiarity with SQL and relational databases is a plus.

- Salary Ranges: Perm (UoP) 13,000- 18,000 PLN gross/month (Possibility to apply for 50% tax deductible costs on creative works- AKUP/IP tax-deductible costs).
