To support us on our mission, we are looking for a Lead Software Developer eager to bring various projects to successful completion. As such, you will be responsible to lead a team of developers, ensuring efficiency and quality of results. .
- Build an efficient team capable of handling various projects in parallel
- Focus on delivery over perfection
- Continuously evaluate the team’s work, identify areas for improvement, and implement necessary changes
- Foster comprehensive and accurate documentation and take care of knowledge sharing
- Act as a valuable addition to the team, providing help, guidance and knowledge
Basic Qualifications:
- Very strong ability to listen attentively, apply logic and reason, follow- through, can-do attitude, and exceptional communication skills both written and verbal
- Easy to work with
- Sense of urgency
- Strong professional or private background in C++, combined with lots of hands-on experience
- Competence to distinguish between what is desired and what is required
- Ability to focus on what is most important now, while not forgetting about the main and long-term goals
- Ability to quickly conceptualize and virtualize complex problems, and to break them down into small and clear tasks
- Experience with leading groups of developers
- Ability to make best use of available resources and personnel
- Be brave to follow bold ideas, explore new methodologies (or old ones) – nothing is too crazy or too boring, too big or too small
- High level of flexibility, outstanding self-management skills and the ability to quickly navigate and make decisions in situations with limited time and information
Preferred Skills and Experience:
- Professional experience as a Team lead
- Thorough knowledge of computer architecture and networks
- Ability to see things from the end user’s perspective
- Eager to work effectively in a dynamic environment with changing needs and requirements
