Your key responsibilities

• Define and maintain Key Metrics for SRE Teams
• Mean Time to Recovery (MTTR), Uptime, Service Level Agreements (SLAs), Mean Time Between Failures (MTBF), Lead time to change etc
• Define and monitor Golden Signals – Latency, Traffic, Errors, Saturation
• Define and Execute core responsibilities of SRE -Ensuring System Reliability and Availability, Mitigating Operational Risks and Handle On-Call Incidents, Monitoring System Health, Continuously Improving IT Systems
• Define and Execute core principle of SRE - Availability, Latency, and Performance, Error Budgets, Change Management and Monitoring, Observability:
• Plan and contribute in
  • High System Reliability - Minimize Downtime, Maximize System Availability, Efficiency - Optimize Resource Utilization, Improve System Performance
  • Resource Optimization - Identify and Eliminate Bottlenecks, Rightsizing Resources, Automate Resource Allocation
  • Performance Tuning - Profile Applications, Optimizing Database Queries, Implementing Caching Strategies
  • Load Testing and Capacity Planning - Simulating Real-World Load, Planning for Future Growth

Your skills and experience

• Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent is required.
• Experience as SRE engineer in technology organization driving projects by defining and creation of CUJ, SLO, SLI, Error Budgeting.
• Strong experience in setting up observability, monitoring and self-healing solutions for instance with Grafana, Google Cloud Operations and Ansible / Terraform or comparable tools.
• Strong Knowledge on IAAC Terraform, GitHub, Docker Images
• Good understanding of SCM Tools – Git, GitHub, SonarQube, Snyk
• Strong Hands on in scripting like Bash, PowerShell, Python, Ansible 
• String Understanding of CI/CD pipelines, creation and maintenance, e.g., Cloud Build, Github, and GitHub Actions, Docker.
• Proactive attitude and collaborative Team player mindset paired with self-confidence. Ability to collaborate and problem solve across teams.
• Hands on experience on release tools like Cloud Build, Maven, Ant, Gradle, Puppet, Jenkins
• Hands on Experience and Structured Logging, Sinks and Pub/Sub Architectures
• Familiarity with GoLang/Java & Postgres/BigQuery/BigData

Skills That Will Help You Excel

• Advance Certification in GCP Specially DevOps stream will be big plus.
• Experience on implementing SRE practices on Google Cloud Platform.
• Able to train, coach, and mentor and know where each technique is best applied
• Understanding of architecture and implementation of three tier web applications
• Experience with GCP or another public cloud provider to build applications
• Experience in an investment bank, financial institution or large corporation using enterprise hardware and software
