Your key responsibilities
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated build, test, and deployment processes.
- Manage infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform and other automation tools.
- Deploy and manage applications on cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability and scalability.
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to streamline release processes.
- Implement security best practices in CI/CD and cloud environments.
- Optimize cost and performance of cloud resources.
- Drive automation initiatives to reduce manual intervention and improve efficiency.
- Maintain documentation for processes, configurations, and standards..
Your skills and experience
Must Have
- Strong experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code.
- Proficiency in CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, or similar).
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Knowledge of containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).
- Expertise in Linux administration and shell scripting.
- Familiarity with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).
- Strong understanding of networking concepts and security practices.
- Version control using Git.
Desirable
- Experience with configuration management tools (Ansible, Chef, Puppet).
- Knowledge of serverless architectures and microservices.
- Exposure to cloud cost optimization strategies.
- Familiarity with Python or Go for automation scripting.
- Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Certifications like GCP Engineer or Terraform Associate.
Educational Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science/engineering or relevant technology & science
