To be successful in this role you will:

  • Have a bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college.
  • Have solid experience in technical and commercial sales in petrochemical business or chemical solutions in oil and gas sector.
  • Knowledge in upstream (midstream and downstream operations is desired)
  • Demonstrate fluency in English.
  • Show good oral and written communication skills. Interpersonal and leadership skills
  • Demonstrate ability to analyze and resolve problems. Ability to lead programs/projects.

As a Lead Sales specialist, you will be responsible for:

  • Positioning Baker Hughes chemical technology/portfolio and identifying the best technical and commercial solution for winning business.
  • Working in close cooperation with regional sales, account sales, and commercial proposal staff.
  • Primary sales role involved in increasing market penetration through technical support and commercial strategies.
  • Handling products/ services related to chemical solutions and systems requiring thorough technical knowledge and knowledge of the environment and client conditions.
  • Managing complex sales processes requiring the involvement of many stakeholders both on the client side and internally
  • Handling important clients in the oil and gas sector for a product line. The department is involved in medium-large sales.
  • Customer facing staff responsible for winning business and market penetration through develops commercial and operational plans.
