SUMMARY

The Lead Sales Associate assists Retail Store Manager oversee employees and run daily store operations. The Lead Sales Associate ensures the sales floor is well-organized, customers receive excellent service, and team members are supported in achieving performance expectations. The Lead Sales Associate is responsible for meeting/exceeding sales quotas and goals by performing the following duties:


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.

  • Assigns duties, schedules shifts and breaks, and ensures adequate floor coverage
  • Trains and supervises staff on store policies and job duties
  • Orders and inspects merchandise, supplies, and equipment
  • Tracks deliveries, check for accuracy and reports discrepancies
  • Prepare sales and inventory reports
  • Ensure accuracy in sales and cash handling
  • Handles customer complaints, returns and service issues professionally
  • Assist staff with complex sales and customer service tasks
  • Meets or exceeds sales goals my managing daily store operations
  • Maintain regular communication with store leadership
  • Supports donation and production operations as needed
  • Maintains a safe work environment
  • Other duties as assigned
