As a Lead QA Engineer you will be part of a motivated engineering team that is responsible for ensuring the quality of the on-demand cloud-based security solutions. Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the engineering team to understand product architecture and functionality.
- Understand end-to-end testing requirements, and create and maintain test plans for functionality and system testing.
- Strongly contribute to Test Case/Test script writing.
- Contribute to Test Automation Development/Enhancement.
- Participate in the creation and enhancement of the continuous integration platform used to test all our projects.
- Communicate test results to identify risks, and dependencies and escalate the same in a timely manner.
Qualifications:
- 7+ years of experience in QA/ QA Automation role in a product company.
- Experience in managing the QA engineers and mentoring new team members.
- Experience in automation framework design, development, and maintenance.
- Experience in writing automation tests in any high-level language.
- Should be able to write clean code.
- Experience in shell/bash scripting is a plus but not mandatory.
- Strong debugging and analysis skills.
- Strong understanding of generic test automation frameworks (data-driven, keyword-driven) and tools (Cypress, Selenium, JMeter, Cucumber).
- Experience with Test and defect management tools.
