Graphics & Packaging Lead Project Manager
Description
The role is based in the Dyson Philippines Graphics & Packaging Programme Management Team and involves managing projects related to Packaging & Graphics materials.
As part of a multi-disciplinary team that includes Creative, New Product Introduction (NPI), Commercial, RDD Engineering, Operation Support functions, and suppliers, you play a crucial role in delivering the team's objectives, driving efficiency, and improving quality from development through to production.
This role reports to the Graphics and Packaging Senior Manager and is responsible for manage a collection of related projects (a program) to achieve broader strategic goals and ensure alignment with the organization’s objectives.
The key responsibilities of the Graphics & Packaging Lead Project Manager are:
Responsibility
- Oversees multiple projects or a large, complex project and often manages other Project Managers.
- Develop and oversee high-level project plans and ensure alignment with project goals & objective.
- Supervise and mentor G&P Project Managers and associate from project direction & delivery strategies.
- Ensure coordination between projects and resolve inter-project dependencies and conflicts.
- Identify the workload allocation of resources across for multiple projects.
- Ensure that project management practices are consistently applied across all projects.
- Review project reports, identify risk & issue and updates to senior management and stakeholders.
- Manage several projects simultaneously, including high-complexity initiatives, while overseeing the work of other Project Managers.
- Ensuring that project deliverables meet the required quality standards and adhere to Dyson business expectations.
- Evaluating project outcomes and processes to identify areas for improvement or lesson learnt in future coming projects.
- Identify the workload allocation of resources across for multiple projects(category)
- Review and identify new graphics elements needed for each market for any new category project.
- Communicate the asset readiness plan to the commercial, C&A & D&PE teams for the artwork preparation process.
- Review and approve all artworks releases prior to submitting for market approval.
Skills
- Suitable for a Lead Project Manager with extensive experience in graphics design, packaging development, print production and knowledge in graphics & packaging standar
- Expertise in managing large-scale and complex projects, including the use of advanced project management methodologies and tools.
- Strong leadership capabilities to guide and mentor project managers and teams, fostering their development and ensuring high performance
- Ability to identify, assess, and mitigate risks, and develop contingency plans to address potential issues that may impact the project.
- Proficiency in identifying, assessing, and mitigating high-level project risks, and implementing effective risk management strategies
- Degree in relevant discipline (Graphics, Design, Project management) or any equivalent experience preferable.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and adjust communication style for different audiences.
- Proficiency in tracking project performance against goals and KPIs, and preparing detailed reports for senior management and stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving abilities to address and resolve complex issues, and make informed decisions to steer the project to success.
