Where You’ll Make a Difference
- Lead the end-to-end execution of capital projects ranging from approximately $5M to $50M, from concept through commissioning and handover.
- Coordinate the overall site Capital portfolio.
- Partner with business, operations, engineering, and finance teams to align project objectives with business priorities.
- Manage project scope, schedule, budget, risks, and resources to ensure successful project delivery.
- Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary teams, contractors, suppliers, and external engineering partners.
- Drive engineering design, procurement, construction, commissioning, and start-up activities.
- Ensure compliance with environmental, health, safety, quality, and regulatory requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
- Communicate project progress, risks, and key decisions to stakeholders and leadership teams.
- Identify opportunities to improve project performance, mitigate risks, and maximize investment value.
- Promote continuous improvement by sharing best practices and lessons learned across projects.
What Makes You the Right Fit
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Bioprocess Engineering or Food/Process Engineering.
- Extensive experience managing capital projects within manufacturing, industrial, chemical, food, or related environments.
- Proven success delivering large-scale capital projects with responsibility for cost, schedule, safety, and quality performance.
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and stage-gate capital project processes.
- Experience leading cross-functional teams and collaborating with diverse stakeholders.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
- Fluent German and English language skills, both written and spoken.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
