- Take care of project deliverables, co-ordinate with multiple stake holders, detailed engineering, controls software validation, commissioning support for Solar, Battery energy storage system (BESS) & Hybrid Plant Control System and Inverter.
- Single point of contact for technical issues for the customer and project manager.
- Track overall status of project deliverables for the assigned projects to meet team goals.
- Responsible for leading and coordinating all balance of plant technical aspects of energy storage projects, including developing single line drawings and schematics, plan and elevation drawings, general arrangement and site layout, relay protection and control requirements, layouts for LV/HV equipment, conduit, cable, wiring, grounding, and control buildings. In addition, as the technical leader for assigned engineering projects or a program of projects, responsibilities also include activities such as schedule development and updates, supporting sourcing initiatives, planning and tracking project design reviews, quality control/quality assurance, and contractor management.
- Develop, improve, and administer customer overview and operational training material for the control system.
- Work across the Hybrid engineering and services organizations to prepare documentation for installation, commissioning, and operations for use by internal GE employees and our customers.
- Drive performance and reliability enhancements back to the product
- Coordinate with sourcing and the project team on technical matters to meet project specifications, cost control objectives, and schedule objectives. Accountable for team results to deliver a high-quality product to customer requirements on time and on or under budget.
- Define processes and procedures, perform RCAs (Root Cause Analysis), perform corrective actions, and validate process control. Support quality and standardization initiatives.
- Bachelor/Master degree in Electrical /Electronics/Instrumentation/Controls Engineering / Science from an accredited college or university
- Minimum of 10+ years of experience with detailed engineering, EPC, Project execution, Control software design/development/implementation.
- Expertise in Solar, Energy storage, Plant level system, Inverter, Transformer, RMU, BOP plant equipment’s validation and verification, systems integration etc.
- Experience in leading large scale engineering projects, EPC, detailed engineering, Simulation models, Power Electronic equipment’s, Product design and site experience.
