The Lead Product Software Engineer designs, develops, and delivers high‑quality, scalable software solutions for mission‑critical applications. You’ll own key system components end‑to‑end—from requirements and architecture through implementation, testing, deployment, and maintenance. You’ll collaborate closely with product stakeholders, drive technical direction for the Agile team, and mentor engineers while contributing hands‑on code and design leadership.

- Play an important role as a technical leader defining the framework, technology, processes / best practices for the Agile team.
- Show leadership within an Agile team of Frontend developers, UX/UI developers, QA engineers / analysts, and business analysts to drive the development of our business critical (24/7/365) cloud-based application.
- Help shape the development and delivery of maintainable and highly scalable multi-tier SaaS applications with web-based, plugin-based, and mobile-based clients on the Frontend technology stacks (ReactJS, Bootstrap5, Angular(18, 19, 20), NG-Bootstrap, CSS/CSS3, Express.js, HTML5, jQuery, JavaScript, NgRx, Node.js, Python, Responsive Web Design, Sass (SCSS), SQL, TypeScript, WebAPI, Web Services).
- Work in Agile teams following Agile + SAFe methodologies to deliver high quality products on time with performance and localization requirements in mind.
- Design, build, test and deliver high quality, complex frameworks and systems and diagnose and resolve complex issues.
- Develop applications utilizing Cloud technologies (SaaS, PaaS)
- Generate innovative approaches and solutions to complex issues.
- Coach, support and mentor other engineering staff in their career development and provide them with daily guidance and direction.
- Influence peers and technical staff within the team and collaborate with internal customers and work teams across departments.
- Select and implement development tools and coordinate technical standards within a development team.
- Understand the use of technology and how its implementation affects strategic business goals.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience in software development.
- 8+ years of programming experience in Frontend Technologies like, ReactJS, Angular(AngularJS/Angular2+), Bootstrap, CSS/CSS3, Express.js, HTML/HTML5, JQUERY, JavaScript, NGRX, Node.js, Python, Responsive Web Design, Sass (SCSS), SQL, TypeScript, WebAPI, Web Services; with at least 3 years as a senior software development engineer and/or technical lead with similar roles/responsibilities
- 5+ years’ experience building high-traffic, public-facing web applications
- 3+ years’ experience developing Single Page Applications using ReactJS (Must Have), AngularJS/Angular2+, KnockoutJS, Bootstrap, or similar technologies
- 3+ years’ experience building and supporting cloud-native SaaS applications using Azure SQL as a primary relational data store
- Hands-on experience using agentic AI agents to assist with design, coding, refactoring, and problem resolution
- Proficient in Domain-Driven Design (DDD)/Object-Oriented Design (OOD) using software development best practices
- Experience using Azure PaaS/SaaS based technologies, designing H/A multi-region solutions
- Quality and test-drive (TDD)/behavioral (BDD) first development mindset
- Successful track record delivering high quality products on time while working in Agile Teams and following Agile methodologies
- Deep understanding of SOLID design principles and patterns
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively influence peers
- Experience designing and implementing stateful and stateless services in scalable, cloud-based systems
- Proficiency with GitHub for version control, code reviews, and integration with CI/CD pipelines
- Experience with responsive and/or Adaptive design
- Experience in Tax and Accounting field a plus

Compensation:
$116,400.00 - $204,100.00 USDThis role is eligible for Bonus.
Compensation range listed is based on primary location of the position. Actual base salary offer is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skills, experience and actual hiring location.
