Job Summary:
Join the Customer Onboarding team of Cat Digital and lead the evolution of digital solutions that grow the number of customers using Digital apps. This role is accountable for defining product features that solve real user problems and support our dealer's ability to validate and manage digital app users. Develop and communicate priorities and business value through your product roadmap.
What You Will Do:
  • Own and prioritize the product backlog, coordinates with product development engineers through strong requirement definition to track and communicate design, development, support, and maintenance problems and solutions.
  • Define clear, well structed product features, and manage design, reliability and maintenance problems and bugs. Gathers and consolidates feedback from customers, Caterpillar dealer users and internal teams.
  • Coordinates with field support specialists (adoption reps) and dealers to address and resolve problems and expand product usage.
  • Communicate product vision and roadmap progress; provides guidance and support for product integration and product functionality issues.

What You Will Have:
  • Business Analysis: Extensive knowledge of business analysis and the set of tasks, techniques and tools required to identify business needs; ability to recommend solutions that deliver value to stakeholders. Experience with typical product management tools such as Azure DevOps or Aha!
  • Decision Making and Critical Thinking: Extensive experience of the decision-making process and associated tools and techniques; ability to accurately analyze situations and reach productive decisions based on informed judgment.
  • Effective Communications: Extensive understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors.
  • Software Product Business Knowledge: Extensive knowledge of and experience with the business aspects and operation of a software product; ability to manage install base, current uses, future plans, and product vision. Experience product managing modern web based applications with API backends.
  • User Acceptance Testing (UAT): Extensive knowledge of UAT activities, tasks, tools and techniques; ability to design, implement and evaluate acceptance tests for end-users.

Considerations For Top Candidates:
  • Demonstrated ownership of a customer-facing web or mobile application, including roadmap planning, feature definition, and stakeholder communication.
  • Strong experience writing high-quality product features, user stories, and acceptance criteria for Agile development teams.
  • Proven ability to work directly with end users (dealers or customers) to gather feedback and drive adoption.
  • Experience presenting product outcomes, metrics, and roadmaps to senior leaders and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with Agile product delivery tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, Jira, Rally) in a Product Owner or Lead Product Owner role.
  • Product Owner or Agile certification is a plus, but demonstrated product ownership impact is preferred.

Summary Pay Range:
$128,470.00 - $208,770.00
Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
